Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn dating rumors are going on another round online after the two were photographed enjoying the view of her hometown Nashville, Tennessee.

The rumor mill continues to churn even as the 27-year-old pop star tries to keep her romantic status as private as possible, but to no avail after paparazzi were able to capture an intimate moment of the singer and rumored beau, British actor Joe Alwyn.

After taking some time off the radar following her nasty whirlwind romance with Thor star Tom Hiddleston, Taylor is deliberately trying to avoid the public eye and presumably, public scrutiny with her new boyfriend. Unfortunately, the age of modern technology won’t allow her such privilege as a blurry photo emerged online showing the “Shake It Off” singer on a date in her hometown.

According to the Daily Mail, the singer and actor were enjoying the Nashville view from a balcony on Saturday when the images were taken.

Based on the report, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn dating rumors may have some grounds after all since they appear “smitten” with each other: Taylor barefoot while wearing a comfy fuchsia blouse and Joe sporting a grey T-shirt matched with denim pants.

But while the images of the two were quite a shock for the public and the media, a source close to the singer tells E! News that it was far from being a surprising couple development for them.

“This isn’t a new couple alert or a secret relationship,” the insider revealed.

“The only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us—Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families—were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a long time.”

According to previous reports on Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn dating rumors including one from the Inquisitr, the 27-year-old exerted more effort to keep this one under wraps compared to her past relationships.

But while sources say that the two are now dating “exclusively,” neither Taylor nor Joe has made any statement about their blossoming romance yet.

In fact, they seem to be in agreement to not talk about it in the media or be as open and as “swift” as she was with exes Tom and Calvin Harris in public.

“[Swift and Alwyn] are still in the beginning stages with learning about each other as she is trying to take this relationship slower than the past ones.”

“She got buried in media being on top of her life during the last relationship, so she tried everything in her power to not have that happen again,” E! News’ mystery source revealed as Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn dating rumors began to emerge.

By the looks of it, they do seem to be taking the relationship in stride as Taylor is taking a page out of Selena Gomez’s book when it comes to dating.

In fact, an insider revealed to E! that the two pop stars have been talking “all the time” particularly about “what’s going on in [Swift’s] life.”

“They both seem to be pretty similar to their approach on their relationships this time around.”

On top of that, the source claims that Selena and Gigi Hadid already met Joe and is currently in the process of getting to know him with Taylor’s “other close friends.”

Based on her dating history, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn dating rumors are not surprising since she’s already dated countless British men before, including Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, and Harry Styles. The only difference is that she is keeping this one quiet, possibly until she’s sure he really is “The One.”
