‘The Bachelorette’ Won’t Be On This Week, Here’s Why ABC Is Pulling Episode 4 From The Schedule

Bachelorette Mondays are everything. At least to fans who look forward to spending two hours watching Rachel Lindsay try to find love amidst the drama and the man-fighting.

Unfortunately, Bachelor Nation will have to find something else to do next week. ABC won’t be airing Episode 4 of the popular ABC reality show on June 12, something that will undoubtedly have fans tweeting up a storm.

Rachel’s season got underway two weeks ago and on Monday, June 5, the show will air as usual. According to ABC, Episode 3 will begin at 8 p.m. ET with the second rose ceremony of the season.

Fans saw the dreaded “to be continued” message last week, so it looks like producers are going to leave us hanging each week, with rose ceremonies airing at the beginning of the episode instead of the end.

Episode 3 will air as scheduled on Monday, June 5, but next week we will have to cancel our Bachelorette viewing parties and cry ourselves to sleep. ABC is pulling Episode 4 from the network’s lineup on June 12.

According to Reality Steve, the programming change was made because of the NBA playoffs. However, there’s a chance we could see something Bachelorette-related if the series is over in four games, but if so, it’s likely it will just be a repeat of one of the first three episodes.

“The Bachelorette will not air on Monday, June 12th due to Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Even if one team happens to sweep and the series is over in four, it still will not air, and instead a repeat would run…. Mark it on your calendar and don’t forget it.”

So, what does that mean as far as the rest of the season goes? There are weeks to go before the Bachelorette season finale airs, so let’s take a look at the upcoming episode dates now that it has been confirmed that Episode 4 will not air on May 12.

Keep in mind, ABC may make further changes to the episode dates. Announcements for date changes are typically made at the end of the episode or you can follow @BacheloretteABC on Twitter for the latest updates.

Episode 3 will air as scheduled on Monday, June 5 with more group dates and a one-on-one date in the Los Angeles area.

The cast and crew will travel to South Carolina for Episode 4 (June 19) and Episode 5 (June 26). More rose ceremony eliminations will take place during those two episodes. The guys who make the cut will need to get their passports ready — international travel starts the following week.

Episode 6 (July 3) kicks over the overseas dates. According to Reality Steve, the first stop is Denmark, and then Rachel and her remaining guys will head to Norway for Episode 7 (July 10). While ABC has yet to confirm this, Steve states that filming took place in Switzerland for Episode 8 (air date July 17).

Hometown dates will air next on July 24, with Rachel’s final four guys showing her around their hometowns. One guy will be eliminated and her final three picks will make a stop in Dallas to meet Rachel’s family before they take off for the Fantasy Suite dates.

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, Rachel and her final three guys will travel to Madrid, Spain for the overnight dates. The episode will air on Monday, July 31.

After hometowns, fans will get to see the always-dramatic The Bachelorette: Men Tell All — a number of this season’s most controversial men will be called up into the hot seat with Chris Harrison.

Considering the finale is scheduled to air on August 7, it looks like the Men Tell All special will air the night before on August 6. And if that’s not enough Bachelorette-goodness for you, the new season of Bachelor in Paradise begins on August 8.

While the August 7 date for the MTA is not definite yet, having two nights of The Bachelorette followed by a night of Paradise sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it?
