Beyonce’s Mom Tina Knowles Is Excited For Her To Give Birth To Twins, Buys Blue Ivy Drums As Payback Joke
Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles is very excited for her daughter to give birth to her twins but while she waits she bought the two grandchildren she already has, Blue Ivy and Solange’s son, Julez, drum sets as a payback joke for all the noise the superstar and her sister made as kids.
Tongue-in-cheek revenge
Beyonce and Solange’s mother Tina Knowles cannot wait to welcome two more members of her family to the world, but until then, she is spoiling the two grandkids she already has with some drum sets as a light-hearted revenge plot against Beyonce and Solange.
“I buy them drum sets and noisy toys.”
The 63-year-old mother-of-two and grandmother-of-four told People on Saturday that she definitely gave her grandkids, Julez, 12, and Blue Ivy, 5, whatever they wanted.
“I encourage them to ask for everything, so I’m getting my kids back.
That’s the fun part.”
Tina said that she was super eager to welcome her daughter’s twins with Jay-Z, saying, “being a grandmother is the second best job in the world,” with “being a mom” as the first.
Knowles was attending the Ladylike Foundation Annual Women of Excellence Awards Gala in Beverly Hills.
Bring on the babies
Beyonce and Jay-Z announced their good news via Instagram in February before her big Grammy performance.
“We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”
Although fans have been attempting to predict the Lemonade superstar’s due date and the genders of the twins, even her mother Tina told Extra that she didn’t know the sex of the babies.
“I would be happy with whatever God gives me.”
Jay Z’s mother also expressed her excitement and happiness to People last month saying she was “very excited about new kids coming into the family” and is “in awe every day” of her family’s successes.
A secret delivery?
Beyonce’s devoted fans have reportedly suspected that the superstar has already given birth after posting a photo on Instagram with her daughter Blue Ivy.

The “Hold Up” singer’s bump appeared to be smaller than in the recent pictures she uploaded from her ‘Carter Push Party,’ which led fans to believe that the photo was uploaded to distract them from the fact that she had already given birth.
