Ozzy Osbourne And Zakk Wylde ‘Bark At The Moon’ As The Sun Vanishes For Moonstock 2017

Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Tommy Clufetos, Adam Wakeman and Blasco will take to the outdoor stage to perform “Bark at the Moon.” During the song, the sky will go black even though it will be midday and darkness will overtake the country.

Ozzy Osbourne is headlining the Moonstock festival that is celebrating a rare total eclipse of the sun. In Carterville Illinois, on Monday, August 21, at exactly 1:20 p.m. Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde’s guitar will “Bark At The Moon,” as the darkness miraculously overwhelms the sun.

Moonstock 2017, with Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde, recalls the ancient concept of ominous portent attached to the mysterious dark miracles science calls eclipses. Over 1,000 years ago phrases like “the dark hour” or “miraculous cataclysm” were commonly used to describe eclipses, according to the University of Nottingham.

Who better than Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde to officiate over a “miraculous cataclysm,” and the song “Bark at the Moon,” seems fitting. Moonstock 2017 is sure to be awesome, especially with Wylde on guitar.

As Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Clufetos, Wakeman and Blasco perform “Bark at the Moon,” a four-minute song, the sun will go dark, as the moon comes between the earth and the sun for two and a half minutes, according to CTV News.

Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society is back with Ozzy Osbourne and Wylde couldn’t have picked a better time to sign up. It will be epic watching a solar eclipse at Moonstock while listening to Zakk Wylde play “Bark at the Moon” on guitar. Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society is easily one of the top guitarists in the world.

Ozzy Osbourne has always loved stuff like this. Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde will be so pumped for this show and no wonder. What a total power rush to imagine chasing the sun away and then bring it back with Zakk’s phenomenal guitar and Ozzy’s song about a werewolf monster. It will be epic.

Ozzy Osbourne’s miraculous Moonstock performance with Zakk Wylde will be the culmination of a four-day outdoor music festival. There will be other acts and a beautiful venue.

Moonstock 2017 will feature Ozzy Osbourne with Zakk Wylde and of course the eclipse, but there is much more. The venue is called Walker’s Bluff. This lovely wine vineyard and winery was designated as one of the best spots to see the nationwide eclipse.

Ozzy Osbourne and his tour band with Zakk Wylde will be headlining for Moonstock. Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Blackstone Cherry, Theory of a Deadman, Hell Yeah, All That Remains, Otherwise, and Pop Evil are also booked for the four-day festival, according to 1057 The Point.

The 2017 Moonstock outdoor music festival with Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde will be an unparalleled experience. This simply cannot happen again for another seven years. The next solar eclipse visible from North America doesn’t happen until April 8, 2024, according to NASA.

Ozzy Osbourne’s 2017 tour dates all featuring Zakk Wylde are so far, at least, exclusively music festivals. For those who cannot make the Moonstock festival, there will be other Osbourne tour dates all with Wylde on guitar. Sadly though, the eclipse is a one time occasion only.

Ozzy Osbourne told Anti Music he’s excited to be on the road again.

“I’m so happy to be getting back on the road with Zakk, Blasko, Tommy and Adam. This is what I do. This is where I belong, on the road.”

Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde have an amazing show planned for the Moonstock festival, and other acts such as Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and Blackstone Cherry, will perform throughout the four-day eclipse festival. Don’t miss it, because it won’t happen again, at least not for seven years.
