Amid Custody Drama, Jenelle Evans’ Ex-Husband Declares His Undying Love For Her On Twitter

Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 may be facing issues when it comes to her custody battle for her eldest son Jace, but it seems like someone else has thrown themselves into the mix: her ex-hsuband Courtland Rogers.

If Teen Mom fans don’t remember Courtland Rogers, it isn’t their fault. The pair’s love was so brief that it never made it on the show, and he was fairly quickly incarcerated after the two made it official.

Courtland and Jenelle Evans were in love in the fall of 2012, when Teen Mom 2 evidently was in an off season for filming. In December of that year, she and Courtland walked down the aisle, or to the courthouse, and became husband and wife. For them, “til death do us part” clearly meant “until prison do us part,” as he was convicted of a felony a few months later and the pair called off their love affair.

He spent 16 months in jail after that, and during that time, he got acquainted with Jenelle’s current “love of her life,” David Eason. The two were reportedly even cellmates for a time and Courtland asked David advice on how to deal with Jenelle. Apparently David was so good at it, he snapped her up himself.

According to reports, Jenelle Evans actually got pregnant with his child, but had an abortion.

Courtland said in an interview with Radar Online that the pair often got high together, and therefore he doesn’t really know what it’s like to have a full on relationship with the mom of three.

“When we tried it out, we were both high. If I loved her that much on drugs, I could only imagine what it’d be like if we were sober,” he said.

In the now deleted tweet (all the best ones always seem to disappear), Courtland confessed his love for Jenelle Evans.

“I can’t sleep and I have a confession to make..I miss Jenelle so freaking much…like more than anything in the world.. I MISS MY WIFE. I MISS JENELLE LAUREN EVANS SO MUCH THO.. no matter what has happened in the past…ughhh I have to sleep…goodnight,” he wrote in a series of tweets.

Jenelle Evans has yet to respond to Courtland’s profession of love and is, instead, focusing on the custody battle with her eldest son, Jace. She also plans to wed fiancé, David Eason, in a “small Southern ceremony.”

Evans and her mother, Barbara, have been at war with one another for the past few years over her oldest son. As Jenelle Evans was ill-prepared to raise a baby when she originally gave birth, she signed over custody to her mother while she got back on track. After several years of drug addiction, Jenelle feels ready to have Jace back in her life, but the court didn’t agree.

The Teen Mom 2 star and her mother, Barbara Evans, went to mediation last week to discuss the custody arrangement. Although Jenelle didn’t wins full custodianship of her son, she did end up with a more concrete schedule.

She got her son back for Memorial Day weekend, and she discussed the “amazing” reunion with E! News.

“It felt amazing to finally be reunited. He was so happy he didn’t even know what to do when he first got home. I was nervous a little bit because I didn’t want Jace thinking it was me that didn’t want to visit with him, but when he arrived everything was back to the way it used to be,” she told the media outlet.

It seems like Jenelle Evans is so focused on Jace and her new baby with her fiance that she hardly has the time to worry about Courtland Rogers sniffing around.
