‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Shares Quote About The Past After Jeremy Calvert Rumors

Leah Messer is not willing to regress in life.

As the Teen Mom 2 star continues to promote her healthy lifestyle and outlook on Instagram, she’s shared a quote with her fans and followers about the past and made it clear that she is moving forward, not backward.

“The only way to stumble on your past is by going backwards. Moving forward means letting go of what is gone and looking forward to what is to come,” her quote read.

“When you step back blindly, you are apt to fall. If you step back with the knowledge that you’re stepping onto something that has already caused you to fall, don’t be surprised when you hurt yourself again.”

“Stop the cycle of excuses and commit yourself to progress. There is so much beauty on the horizon for you!! Believe it!” the quote concluded.

Leah Messer’s post was a hit with her followers and likely applied to her own life. As Teen Mom 2 fans will recall, Leah Messer recently faced rumors of a possible reconciliation with her former husband, Jeremy Calvert, who she divorced nearly two years ago, after the ex-couple was seen spending time together at a bar in Charleston, West Virginia.

After marrying Jeremy Calvert in April 2012, Leah Messer stumbled on her past, so to speak, when she engaged in an affair with Corey Simms, her first husband, the following year. Before that, Leah Messer chose to relive her past when she cheated on Simms with an ex-boyfriend just days before their December 2010 wedding.

Leah Messer was then accused of cheating on Jeremy Calvert with the same man she cheated with while preparing to marry Simms. Now, however, the reality star and mother of three has seemingly turned over a new leaf as she focuses on her future and her kids.

Leah Messer shares twin girls, seven-year-old Ali and Aleeah, with her first husband, Corey Simms, and four-year-old daughter Adalynn with second husband Jeremy Calvert.

In the years since splitting from Jeremy Calvert, Leah Messer has been linked to just one man: T.R. Dues. As fans may recall, Messer and Dues were first linked to one another in spring 2015, months after Messer split from Calvert, but despite the ongoing rumors, Messer chose to stay silent about her alleged romance. She even failed to speak of Dues at all on Teen Mom 2 and he was never seen on the show.

Although Leah Messer ultimately chose to acknowledge Dues on Twitter months after Corey Simms shed light onto their relationship during a Teen Mom 2 reunion, she did so only to confirm that they were no longer together.

Leah Messer and her family, including her ex-husbands and their kids, are currently in production on the upcoming eighth season of Teen Mom 2, which also includes Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and new cast member Briana DeJesus. When the show returns, fans can expect to see Messer continuing to co-parent her three children with Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert.

While Jeremy Calvert has expressed his desire to quit Teen Mom 2 on several occasions, he confirmed to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup several weeks ago that he was in negotiations to appear on the MTV series during its eighth season.

“We’re still in negotiation for me to be in [Teen Mom 2] Season 8,” Jeremy Calvert said in early April. “Their money offer went up, so, I’ve been filming. We’ll see.”

No word yet on when Teen Mom 2 Season 8 will premiere on MTV.
