Brad Pitt And Son Pax Jolie-Pitt Head To Counseling After Alleged Plane Fight

Brad Pitt is taking steps to mend his relationship with his adopted son, Pax Jolie-Pitt.

According to a new report, the 53-year-old actor and 13-year-old Vietnamese boy were recently spotted arriving at the same therapist’s office in Los Angeles for what was reported as separate sessions.

On June 1, Radar Online shared photos of Pitt and his son visiting a Hollywood psychiatrist and psychotherapy expert who reportedly specializes in relationships between adults and teenagers. The outlet then revealed that Pitt and the boy each attended a one-hour session with the specialist.

Brad Pitt’s visit to the therapist comes just weeks after he admitted to past struggles with alcohol.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share six children, three of whom are adopted, including 15-year-old Maddox from Cambodia, 13-year-old Pax from Vietnam, and 12-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia, and three who are biological, including 11-year-old Shiloh and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Brad Pitt’s marriage came to an end last September after an alleged incident between the actor and his oldest son, Maddox, during a trip from the United States to France. As an Us Weekly report explained at the time, Brad Pitt was allegedly caught on video “looking drunk” and “yelling” after his family jet stopped for fuel at Minnesota’s International Falls Airport.

“[Brad Pitt] is seen yelling a lot during it, but nothing physical,” a source told the magazine of the reported footage.

According to another report, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were rumored to have gotten into a fight in front of their six kids while traveling back to their home in Los Angeles and during the fight, Maddox allegedly attempted to defend his mother. That said, despite Pitt’s reported encounter with Maddox, the insider claimed that all suggestions regarding possible abuse were inaccurate.

As fans may recall Brad Pitt was accused of child abuse shortly after splitting from Jolie and in the months that followed, he was investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services and by the FBI before ultimately being cleared of all charges.

In the months since he split from his estranged wife, Brad Pitt has appeared to be looking substantially thinner than he has in the past. In fact, according to Radar Online‘s report, the actor has been “withering away” as he attempts to regain time with his family.

Because of the accusations against Brad Pitt last year, he was kept from spending time with his kids for several months as they remained in Malibu, California at a rental home with their mother.

Although Brad Pitt has spent tons of time away from is six kids in recent months, he may soon be seeing more of them. As fans may have heard, Angelina Jolie recently purchased the $25 million Cecile B. DeMille estate in Los Feliz, which is located just a few minutes away from her former marital home with Brad Pitt.

“[Angelina Jolie] has moved into a new home with the couple’s six kids in the exclusive LA area of Los Feliz. And the new property is just five minutes away from the sprawling family home she once shared with [Brad Pitt],” the Daily Mail revealed to readers. “The star and her children moved into the sprawling 7,500 square foot home on Thursday, while Brad, 53, remains in the family’s original house only a few blocks away.”

“The new property features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with a library and gym,” the outlet continued.
