‘KUWTK’ Pets: From Khloe Kardashian’s Labrador To Kourtney’s Bunny And Kendall Jenner’s Greyhound Dog Mew
If you’ve set a goal of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK), get ready to expand your knowledge of the human cast with their pets. From Kylie Jenner’s dogs and recently adopted chicken to Kourtney Kardashian’s pet rabbit and Khloe Kardashian’s Labrador, the Kardashian and Jenner clan have an ever-changing flock of furry friends. Open up the virtual box of dog biscuits, scrape off the carrots, and learn more about the KUWTK clan’s pets that they’re caring for currently.
Although none of the pets are stars on social media (yet), their Kardashian and Jenner owners do their best to tweet, Instagram, and blog their lives for their fans. Kylie even set up an Instagram for her dogs. But it still requires some detective work to keep up with the latest on the KUWTK pets, noted People.
Instagram, however, has provided clues on the most recent changes in the KUWTK pet stars. Khloe Kardashian seems to have turned to a luxury designer for inspiration on naming her dog. Khloe has just the one pet, Gabbana the Labrador retriever, who has made an appearance on social media. The retriever is known for spending time with Khloe by the pool.
The Kardashian clan got another dog, Dolce, and Gabbana, at the same time. Alas, a coyote killed Dolce, leaving Gabbana to hang out alone when Khloe’s not at home. But Dolce lives on in the memory of the family, forever immortalized in one of Kylie Jenner’s lip kits.
“dolce ?? the reason I named one of my first lip kits ‘dolce k’ throwbacks,” wrote Jenner on social media.
While Khloe currently just has her Labrador retriever to photograph and love, it’s not quite so easy keeping up with the rest of the KUWTK family’s many pets.
But it is known that Kourtney Kardashian is a believer in bunnies. When Kourtney isn’t running after her three children or arguing with her sisters, she’s spending time with her pet rabbit, Snowflake. Although Snowflake appears to be into avoiding media appearances, he’s still residing with the oldest Kardashian sister.
Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian aren’t the only members of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians family to adore dogs, however. Kendall Jenner has a darling little pet pal. Meet Mew, a greyhound. Entering Kendall’s life around Christmas, Mew has received presents and affection from her first day in Keeping Up with the Kardashians country.
But the ultimate pet owner in the clan seems to be Kylie Jenner. In addition to her dogs, who have their own Instagram account, she has a bunny named Bruce. The KUWTK star even has given her dogs their own “voice” through her social media posts, with two of her pets apparently annoyed that their “Auntie Kendall” is taking advantage of their cuteness to use them as a “prop.”
However, when it comes to sharing the lives of her pets, it’s the dogs who repeatedly show up on Kylie’s social media. Greyhounds Norman and Bambi are also parents. When they had a litter of two puppies, their KUWTK star mommy even missed an award show to stay with her pets.
But why stop at the ordinary? The most recent member of Kylie’s ever-expanding flock of pets is a Silkie chicken named Eddie. She’s taking a celebrity pet trend under her wing with this addition because more stars are adopting chickens as pets.
When it comes to which celebrity might have inspired the KUWTK star to adopt a chicken, there’s a long list of possibilities. Vanity Fair reported that KUWTK frenemy Nicole Richie has acquired five chickens, all of whom are hens. She named them Tallulah, Philomena, Mama Cass, Sunny, and Daisy.
Jenner has some catching up to do, however, because Nicole even decorated the chicken coop so that it resembles the style of her own home. She also has a human mentor to help her raise her chickens.
In addition to the KUWTK star and Richie, celebrity chicken owners include Barbara Streisand, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah, Helen Hunt, Ellen Pompeo, and Martha Stewart.
