‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Season 8: Are Kyle Richards And Lisa Rinna Still Friends?
Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna are currently filming the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and according to a new report, they are still friends.
Although Richards and Rinna appeared to be on opposite sides of the fence during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 reunion months ago, Richards recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed that she and Rinna have been known to easily move past their on-screen issues.
“Lisa Rinna is the kind of person like I know that she’s a good person, and I actually really like Lisa Rinna,” Kyle Richards explained to Andy Cohen, according to a May 31 report by All About the Real Housewives. “She does a lot of things where, ‘Oh my gosh, why would you do that? Why would you say that?’ But I get over things really quickly, and so does she. So we just move past it, honestly.”
While Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna’s on-screen relationship has been strained at times on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the two women were actually friends long before Rinna joined the Bravo TV reality series for its fifth season in 2014.
Throughout their time together on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna have been faced with tons of turmoil. However, their issues are typically not between just them. Instead, the two women have bickered over things that have happened with Richards’ older sister, Kim, and their co-star Lisa Vanderpump.
Most recently, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna found themselves at odds due to Rinna’s ongoing feud with Kim Richards, which stems from her concerns about her sobriety.
“Kim has been really upset about the things that have been said about her with Lisa Rinna and with Eden,” Kyle Richards explained to the Daily Dish in February. “It’s hard hearing those things. She’s already defensive because she always feels like she’s always under the microscope because of things that she’s gone through in the past and things that have happened.”
When Lisa Rinna first joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she and Kim Richards butted heads after Rinna questioned her sobriety. As fans will recall, Rinna’s suspicions about the former child star were ultimately confirmed when she admitted to taking one of her former husband’s pain pills. A short time later, Kim Richards relapsed on alcohol and was arrested twice in the months that followed.
“[Lisa Rinna] has had issues with my sister, as we all know. And then she feels bad because we are friends, and she’ll say, ‘I’m really sorry. I never should have said that. It won’t happen again,'” Kyle Richards continued. “And then it happens again probably because we’re on this show together and you’re supposed to be honest about your feelings or whatever her reason may be.”
Kyle Richards added that while she would love for her sister and Lisa Rinna to settle their issues with one another, she has removed herself from their drama.
“Every time they go to talk, it just gets worse, so I’ve gotten to the point where I’m going to say, ‘I’m going to stay out of it,’ because every time someone chimes in, it just blows up and gets worse,” she explained.
Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and their co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump, Eileen Davidson, and Kim Richards, are expected to return to Bravo TV later this year in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8.
