Meghan Markle Reportedly Getting ‘Cold Feet’ When It Comes To Marrying Prince Harry After Her Latest Faux Pas
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly on the verge of a wedding announcement. While the world waits for the exciting engagement, insiders claim she’s already getting cold feet. Why is Markle having second thoughts about the royal wedding?
An inside source told Radar Online that directors Lee Daniels and Tyler Perry want to turn Markle into an A-list star. The only problem is that Markle won’t be able to continue with her acting career once she marries Prince Harry.
“Meghan knows there’s no going back once the engagement’s announced so to have these incredible scripts land on her plate has really upset the apple cart,” the source revealed. “She’s worked for all her life trying to succeed as an actress and getting these plum roles offered to her has unsettled things.”
Markle and Harry have slowly rolled out their romance to the public. According to News, they recently attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception, which sparked more reports of a coming engagement. Unfortunately, Markle is having second thoughts about taking her career in a different direction.
“Meghan’s very intimidated by Harry’s world and the responsibility she’ll have,” the source added. “She knows this is her last chance to finally commit to a life path and she’s incredibly torn.”
Speaking of Middleton’s wedding, Markle wisely decided to show up late for the ceremony to avoid grabbing all the attention. The event was held at the Middleton family mansion just west of London. The ceremony featured ping pong with Roger Federer, Russian caviar worth $80,000, and an elegant reception.
Markle wore a black dress to the wedding and displayed perfect respect for the bride and her groom, despite rumors that her choice of dress was a faux pas.
“It absolutely would have been difficult for Meghan not to upstage the bride but I think it’s perfectly appropriate in the modern era to wear black to a wedding as it’s a neutral colour,” fashion expert Julie Lamberg-Burnet explained. “She only went to the reception as well so she had more flexibility with what she could wear.”
While we wait to learn more about Markle’s future with Harry, Express reports that he’s currently looking for a home in Norfolk. Earlier reports indicated that Harry might buy a house in the United States to be closer to Markle, who splits time between Los Angeles and Canada. It now appears, however, that Markle is falling in love with the UK and might want to settle in England with Harry and the rest of his family.
The Suits star allegedly loves a home in Norfolk. Although nothing is official, an insider claims that Harry is looking forward to buying a home in the area and starting a family with the actress. Is this confirmation that a wedding is right around the corner?
“Harry has family on his mind more than ever,” the insider shared, adding that Harry has been living in Kensington Palace because of his busy schedule. “But with an engagement looming and potentially the patter of tiny feet, Harry is house-hunting big time.”
Harry hasn’t pulled the trigger on a property yet, though sources say he’s looking for a country estate complete with a polo field. With that in mind, Markle allegedly likes a Georgian manor House in Norfolk named Guist Hall. The only problem is that Guist Hall doesn’t have a polo field. Even still, it’s clear that Markle is thinking about a future with Harry and likes the idea of spending the rest of her life in the UK.
Harry and Markle have not commented on the engagement rumors. Whatever happens with Markle’s career, fans can only hope that she makes a decision before it’s too late.
