‘Teen Mom 2′ Jenelle Evans’ Fiance Wins Full Legal Custody Of His Daughter
Jenelle Evans may have failed to gain custody of her son Jace last week in court but luckily for the Teen Mom 2 star’s family, her fiancé, David Eason scored a big victory days later in his own custody case for his daughter.
According to a new report, David Eason, who shares one child with Jenelle Evans and also has two older children from previous relationships, was recently awarded with full legal custody of his oldest child, daughter Maryssa, who is often seen on Teen Mom 2.
On May 31, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed that as of yesterday, David Eason has sole legal custody of the nine-year-old child after coming to a permanent custody agreement with his former wife, Whitney Johnson. The outlet also revealed that Johnson has been put on a visitation schedule, much like Jenelle Evans was during her court case with her mom, Barbara Evans, last week.
In addition to her visitation schedule, Johnson must follow certain rules in regard to drug and alcohol use.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, David Eason granted temporary emergency custody of Maryssa and this week in court, a North Carolina judge decided that it is was in Maryssa’s “best interest” to “promote her health and welfare” and award her father with legal custody.
While Jenelle Evans is allowed to see her oldest son without supervision, the outlet noted that Johnson’s time with her daughter is required to be supervised by her mother.
“Whitney is also required to remain drug- and alcohol-free while visiting with Maryssa, and to submit to hair follicle drug testing,” the outlet revealed to readers. “David is also restricted from doing certain things around Maryssa, per the custody arrangement.”
“Neither party will use drugs or excessively consume alcohol while caring for the child,” the custody order reportedly stated.
Like Jenelle Evans and her mother, David Eason is restricted from speaking badly about Whitney Johnson to or in front of Maryssa and when they communicate with one another, they must speak in a “businesslike, respective tone.” The former couple is also restricted from speaking badly about one another’s significant others.
As for David Eason’s second child, son Kaden, the outlet confirmed the reality star was in the process of arranging a visitation schedule with the child.
Jenelle Evans and David Eason began dating one another in 2015 after the Teen Mom 2 star split from the father of her second child Kaiser, ex-fiance Nathan Griffith, and one year later, they announced they were expecting a child together.
Following the birth of Jenelle Evans’ third child in January, David Eason proposed and now, as they juggle their total of five children, the couple is planning for their fall 2017 wedding.
Weeks ago, ahead of her custody battle with Barbara, Jenelle Evans spoke of her soon-to-be-husband and revealed that Eason is a hands on dad with both his children and hers.
“David is amazing with my children. He’s not afraid to change dirty diapers,” Jenelle Evans gushed to E! News. “He loves to make sure to tell them the importantance of school, staying out of trouble, worrying about being a kid. David also likes to make the kids go outside to play versus being stuck inside playing video games, which Jace absolutely loves to do. He’s perfect to me.”
Jenelle Evans also confirmed during the interview that she would not be welcoming any more children in the near future.
Jenelle Evans and her co-stars, including fiancé David Eason, are currently filming the eighth season of Teen Mom 2.
