Nicki Minaj Taking Nas Romance Slow After Celibacy Claims — Couple Collaborate On Rapper’s New Album?

Nicki Minaj is definitely entertaining a possible relationship with Nas, it has been alleged, with sources claiming that the duo is taking things slow.

Nicki Minaj left her fans stunned when she posted a photo of herself cuddling up to the legendary rapper on Instagram just two weeks ago. It was instantly insinuated that Nicki and Nas were quietly hooking up, but it seems like Nicki didn’t need anybody speculating whether or not she was seeing someone new.

She made an appearance on Ellen, as mentioned by Complex, where she openly admitted that she is seeing Nas, but she went on to say that things are moving rather slow between them because she’s not wanting to rush into anything too soon.

According to Hollywood Life, Nas is totally fine with that. He’s reportedly had a crush on Nicki Minaj for years, so the fact that he’s making the right moves and can consider himself her boyfriend is already a huge step forward for him — he’s very much attracted to Minaj and clearly doesn’t want to mess this up for himself.

Sources continue to add that Nas and Nicki Minaj are definitely dating. They are constantly talking to one another when they are not in the same city, and from what’s been gathered, it’s not long before fan will see them out and about more than ever before.

“Nicki [Minaj] and Nas talk every day, and see each other a lot—they’re getting really close, but Nicki wants to take her time and not rush things,” an insider shares. “She’s still stinging from the Meek [Mill] break-up, so she doesn’t want to jump straight into another serious relationship.”

As mentioned by Hollywood Life, Nicki Minaj doesn’t want to rush into a new relationship too soon because she’s still hurt from her breakup with Meek Mill.

The female rapper confirmed she was done with Mill in January, stressing that she wanted a new beginning for herself, as reports claimed that Meek and Nicki Minaj found themselves arguing on a constant basis, to the point where the 34-year-old knew the romance was unhealthy for both of them.

Cheating allegations soon followed, which would explain why Nicki Minaj is so hesitant to jump into a new relationship, but she’s definitely been open to the idea of at least dating her new man because she likes him just as much as he likes her.

“That said, there’s a really strong connection between Nicki and Nas, and there’s no doubting how much they dig each other. Nas is happy to take things at Nicki’s pace for now—he’s had a thing for her for years, so he’s just glad he’s getting time with her.”

Nicki Minaj and Nas have collaborated in the past, with the rapper also having starred as the “Starships” singer’s love interest in the music video for her hit song “Right By My Side.”

Aside from news of Nicki Minaj taking her relationship with Nas slow in order to prevent herself from being left heartbroken again, she’s currently said to be finishing up her forthcoming studio album, which multiple outlets have claimed will be hitting stores later this year.

The likes of Drake and Lil Wayne have already been confirmed to be on the record, with a potential release date being somewhere near November. A rep for Nicki Minaj has yet to confirm whether that particular month for the release of the new album is, in fact, true.

Nicki Minaj has kept her romance with Nas off social media, for the most part, but the question that still remains is whether you think these two will last or not.
