Angelina Jolie ‘Redeeming’ Herself After Brad Pitt Split [Report]
Angelina Jolie has been stepping out more and more since her split from Brad Pitt. Although the two wanted to keep their relationship and subsequent divorce as private as possible, the media certainly did a good job at exposing some divorce details, which made things a bit uncomfortable and put both actors in an awkward spot. However, they both seem to be doing okay now and have gone their separate ways without too much additional fuss.
Pitt has taken a bit of a beating when it comes to his image. Shortly after the couple’s split, Pitt was making headlines for an incident on an airplane involving one of his kids. Child services got involved but Pitt’s name was cleared shortly after the news was first reported. He has slowly made his way back onto the scene since that time.
Pitt has been getting out more and has done a couple of candid interviews that have made him a bit more relatable, which people seem to like.
Jolie has managed to keep herself out of the spotlight, focusing on her kids and not saying too much about her personal life. However, a new report suggests that she is stepping out more lately, trying to “redeem” herself.
“Jolie has been spotted out with the kids a ton recently, including going to Disneyland for her daughter Shiloh’s birthday…. While Jolie hasn’t been in a lot of movies lately, she’s been out in the open being a hands-on mother and humanitarian. She’s even tried to patch up her relationship with her estranged father Jon Voight since her divorce,” OK! Magazine reports.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have continuously said that they are focused on their children and things seem to be settling down enough that they can be. The details of their custody agreement are unclear, but it is believed that both Pitt and Jolie are spending ample time with their six children these days, taking turns and splitting time when appropriate.
There was some chatter about where Pitt may have been when Jolie took her brood to Disneyland, but it seems as though the two aren’t really into the co-parent trips these days. While things are thought to be amicable — at least, as much as they can be given the circumstances — Pitt and Jolie haven’t done any joint outings with their kids since their split.

Although there have been tons of rumors about Pitt and Jolie getting back together, it does not seem like that’s in the cards for the former couple. While the exact reasons for their split are unclear, this does not sound like a situation where two people will reconcile and try to work things out. For now, it is kids first, followed by their respective careers.
The two have not announced any huge projects but will likely be getting back into the swing of things soon. It has certainly been a tough year for them both, but they seem to be doing the best they can at the present time.
