Anthony Weiner Moving Back Home? Ex Huma Abedin Lets Him In Days After Filing For Divorce

Is Anthony Weiner already moving in again? Days after his ex-wife Huma Abedin filed for divorce, she reportedly invited him back home.

Weiner is moving home

Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s right-hand woman, has reportedly invited her sex offender husband, Anthony Weiner, to move back into their family home.

Days after filing for divorce, the New York Post reported that Huma Abedin renewed the lease on the couple’s Union Square duplex. She has shockingly invited her disgraced husband back home.

Anthony Weiner and his wife shared the three-bedroom, 1,500-square-foot property, and after their split, the shamed politician was supposed to move out. Weiner had apparently been living on his mother’s couch and was intended to move out this week.

However, a source from the building told the Post that they had “just signed for another year.”

It is not exactly clear whether Abedin, 41, signed the $11,900/month lease alone or with Weiner.

Another source added that Huma “still hasn’t served him with divorce papers.”

Anthony Weiner was also recently spotted walking around the apartment building on Tuesday morning with their 5-year-old son, Jordan.

Huma is reportedly concerned about her son and the impact that a divorce will have on him.

“That’s her priority, and Anthony plays a very strong role in raising him.”

Taking back a guilty man

Huma Abedin broke things off with her disgraced husband last summer, but the pair reportedly reconciled in March. The couple had been living together as recently as May 4 in Manhattan.

However, Abedin filed for divorce on May 19, which was the same day that Weiner pleaded guilty in court to sending text messages of a sexual nature to a 15-year-old girl.

Weiner admitted to engaging in “obscene communications” and sharing “explicit images” with a minor.

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse. I apologize to everyone that I have hurt. I apologize to the teenage girl, whom I mistreated so badly.”

The disgraced politician will have to register as a sex offender as part of the plea deal with Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Anthony Weiner is scheduled to be sentenced on September 8. He faces up to 27 months behind bars for the inappropriate exchange with the North Carolina teen.

A history of indiscretions

This incident is not the first time Weiner has been caught red-handed sexting other women and straying outside of his marriage.

In 2011, the then-up-and-coming congressman accidentally tweeted a picture of his crotch and then tried to claim that his account had been hacked. Eventually, Weiner came clean and resigned from office.

Anthony tried to reclaim his political career in 2013 by running for the mayor of New York. However, his campaign was short-lived, as he was caught sexting a 22-year-old woman named Sydney Leathers, who came forward with online proof of their relationship.

Soon after, multiple other online relationships that Weiner was having were revealed.

Last summer, Anthony was caught texting other women in a sexual nature again, which was what prompted Huma to separate from him. He had been caught texting an inappropriate photo with his then-3-year-old in the bed next to him.

Weiner entered outpatient therapy for his sex addiction in Tennessee in the fall of 2016.

Abedin and Weiner have not commented on him moving back into the family home.
