‘American Horror Story’ Filming Of Season 7 Has Begun. Which Stars Can Fans Count On Seeing In The Fall?

American Horror Story fans have only had a breadcrumb trail of clues from Ryan Murphy for the upcoming season. As in years past, Murphy is great at keeping fans on the edge of their seats and building up the suspense before the season premiere. While tidbits are coming out, it just isn’t enough yet to get a good idea of what surprises American Horror Story has in store for viewers this upcoming season.

In February, Ryan Murphy was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. He shared with show host Andy Cohen that the theme for Season 7 would be based on the election our country had just gone through. That lead to a whirlwind of speculation, including who would play the roles of Trump and Clinton. Fans took to social media to discuss the possibility of Russian conspiracies and other behind the scene deceptions that might be a part of the story-line.

Many fans have posted on social media that Sarah Paulson would be perfect for the role of Clinton. It is not to be though. Ryan Murphy has confirmed for American Horror Story fans that Clinton and Trump will be seen on television in the show with clips of the two. The will not be portrayed as characters for the season, however.

According to Dread Central, on Friday, May 26, American Horror Story was filming for Season 7 on the steps of a Los Angeles courthouse. Actor Evan Peters had blue hair pulled back in a man bun, a black eye and an arm in a sling. He appeared to have taken quite a beating. Onlookers could see the anger on his face as he was speaking to reporters, including Sarah Paulson and Adina Porters who joined the AHS family in My Roanoke Nightmare.

According to spoilers previously released by Ryan Murphy, American Horror Story fans will see a dark introduction to Season 7 during the premiere. It will be set on election night. Murphy said that in the first 10 minutes of the show, fans would see something terrible happen, that impacts all of the characters as they watch, unable to do anything. Whatever happens during those first few minutes will begin to lay the story out for the season.

By this time fans normally know which stars have signed on for the season. While Ryan Murphy did announce that Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner and Billie Lourd, daughter of the late Carrie Fischer, will all be joining the cast of American Horror Story, there have been no other confirmations at this time.

Fans of American Horror Story enjoy seeing the characters take on a different role each season. While Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange and all the other greats that have starred on the show are not yet confirmed, there is also no word that they won’t be seen on the set of American Horror Story.

American Horror Story has already signed for two additional seasons. While fans wait for news on the upcoming season, they can relax regarding the fate of the Ryan Murphy cult classic. The plans for a crossover season between Murder House and Coven that was previously announced is still in the works for the future as well.
