Chelsea Clinton Takes Trump’s Side

President Donald Trump may be one of the most controversial figures in U.S. politics, but killing Trump is not going to fly in this country.

The killing of Trump is seemingly uniting America, with even the daughter of Trump’s arguably biggest enemy, presidential election 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton, taking the U.S. President’s side.

Chelsea Clinton, the only daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Hillary, who suffered a surprise loss to Trump in last year’s election, took to Twitter – the most preferred way of communication of Trump – to defend the President over the overly disturbing photo of Kathy Griffin beheading Trump.

The photoshoot of Kathy Griffin beheading a fake head resembling that of Trump sparked a furor in the media. However, despite all the differences between the Clintons and Trumps, Chelsea Clinton slammed Griffin for joking about killing the President.

In a tweet that has gathered more than 40,000 likes, Chelsea Clinton slams Kathy Griffin’s photos of beheaded Donald Trump and calls it “vile and wrong.”

While opinions about killing Trump have split in the comment section, Chelsea Clinton insists that it’s not a laughing matter to joke about killing the President.

One user in the comments then corrected Chelsea by saying, “About killing a person, actually,” and the only daughter of Hillary Clinton was quick to agree.

Kathy Griffin, whose controversial photos of killing Trump were first obtained by TMZ and caused quite a stir in the media, triggered a furious response from Republicans.

Donald Trump Jr., the President’s eldest child, called Kathy Griffin’s photos “disgusting,” but added that it wasn’t “surprising” as “this is the left today.”

President Trump himself has yet to respond to the gory photoshoot of Kathy Griffin beheading him, which apparently has even the Clintons taking Trump’s side, as the President’s latest tweet on Tuesday late evening is focused on the FBI’s investigation into his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s alleged ties to the Russians.

Kathy Griffin has been facing immediate backlash on social media for posing with a fake decapitated head resembling that of Trump, with some users wondering if CNN – arguably the biggest liberal-leaning channel in the U.S. – would bring the comedian back to host their New Year’s Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper.

Kathy Griffin, who has been a vocal critic of Trump – calling him an “idiot” during an interview with MSNBC in March, defended the photoshoot in a series of deleted tweets, but then apparently realized the idiocy of her stunt, as she erased the tweets and recorded an apology video.

Apparently realizing that this could be the end of her career – given the furious response from the media and even Chelsea Clinton – Kathy Griffin says in the video, “I sincerely apologize,” defending herself as she’s a “comic” who does “cross the line” every now and then.

Saying that she has “made a lot of mistakes in my career,” Kathy Griffin is asking America’s “forgiveness,” as she takes down all the images from the photoshoot of killing Trump, finally becoming wise enough to realize that it “wasn’t funny.”

Though speaking to TMZ in a behind-the-scenes video from the photoshoot, Kathy Griffin seemed very confident when she told that she and photographer Tyler Shields were “not afraid to do images that make noise.”

In the clip that was released by TMZ alongside the gruesome photoshoot of a beheaded Trump, Kathy Griffin also quips that she and the photographer would “have to move to Mexico today because we’re going to go to prison.”

Just hours after the video was released, Kathy Griffin apparently no longer laughed at the possibility of going to prison for showing images of beheading President Trump.
