Jennifer Lawrence Got ‘Really Drunk’ For Sex Scene With Chris Pratt In ‘Passengers’
Jennifer Lawrence said that she had to get “really, really drunk” to film her sex scene with Chris Pratt for her movie Passengers. Why was she so nervous?

Jennifer Lawrence told the Hollywood Reporter that she got hammered to shoot her first sex scene with Chris Pratt in the sci-fi romance Passengers.
“I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home, because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.'”
The actress added that it didn’t help that Pratt is married, saying, “It was going to be my first time kissing a married man and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach.”
Spacesuits are not easy to kiss in.
On top of filming her first sex scene, Lawrence had to figure out how to kiss with a bulky spacesuit on, according to USA Today.
The Passengers actress said that she and Pratt weren’t expecting their kissing scene to be so difficult and that the chest plates on their suits bumped into one another when they went in for a kiss.
“We didn’t know that was going to happen. So they called ‘action.’ And we went to kiss. And it was like, Donk! Donk! Our heads couldn’t reach each other. We had a good laugh about it, and we incorporated it into the movie.”

Passengers is the first film that Jennifer Lawrence has worked with Chris Pratt. The two are stranded together on a spaceship when their sleep pods malfunction, waking them up 90 years before they are supposed to reach their destinations.

Shooting sex scenes is not sexy.
Chris Pratt said that filming the portion of the film where the “two characters are falling for each other” was “natural” and “fun” because they were enjoying each other’s company, which makes for “easy acting.”

Jennifer said that the actual sex scene, which was meant to look like impromptu lovemaking, was difficult for her to shoot and was filled with some klutzy moments.
“Sex scenes are the most unsexy things in the world.”

The Passengers actress was recently in the headlines for being caught in a raunchy video dancing drunkenly at a strip club in Austria.
Lawrence was slammed for the video, but she claimed that she was not going to apologize for her actions, saying she was celebrating a friend’s birthday and having fun.
“Look, nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet. It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun. I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”
