Former WWE Tag Team Champion May Have To Go To Jail, Talks Dealing With The Death Of Joanie ‘Chyna’ Laurer

Sean “X-Pac” Waltman has dealt with a number of demons and issues throughout his life, and it seems as if a few more obstacles are jumping into his path. Earlier this month, the former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion was arrested on a drug charge, and now, he is possibly facing jail time for something that happened a long time ago. As he discusses that possibly happening, Waltman also talks about dealing with the death of his former love, Chyna.

Earlier this month, X-Pac was arrested at LAX after trying to carry marijuana through customs. That information came out after he failed to appear for an IPW event in the United Kingdom, and no one could get a hold of him.

Cageside Seats recently reported that the Los Angeles County District Attorney decided not to pursue the case against him and had the drug charges dropped. X-Pac said he was carrying the marijuana on him, but said it was only for personal use and not an attempt at trafficking or trying to sell it.

While he says he has stopped using any other drugs, Waltman backs the use of marijuana for personal use and was thrilled when the charges were dropped.

Despite not having to deal with any legal issues on that arrest, Waltman may still have to serve jail time for something that happened more than a decade ago.

According to TMZ Sports, Waltman was in a Los Angeles court last week for a warrant placed on him for a DUI arrest in 2004. At that appearance, he pled no contest to avoid jail, received three years of probation and an order to complete an alcohol and drug program.

Everything seemed fine, but now, it appears as if he has violated the terms of that deal because of an arrest warrant issued for him back in 2005. All of that was kept on the down-low until his arrest at LAX earlier this month, and it could result in X-Pac going away for a while.

“I may have to do a couple days in jail…and if that’s the case, that’s the case.”

Over the years, X-Pac has worked on cleaning up his life, and he has admitted that on a number of occasions. He wants to be clean and also wants to make things right between him and the legal system despite what has happened in the past or may happen now.

While talking about his recent arrest and possibly going to jail soon, X-Pac also spoke of the late Joanie Laurer aka Chyna. The two former WWE stars were in a relationship for a while and even engaged, but things ended badly between the couple.

As transcribed by Wrestling Inc., Waltman brought up Chyna’s death from last year and said that he was dealing with her loss and the fact they weren’t on good terms when she died. X-Pac wishes things had been better and felt they would have been that way eventually.

“Her passing away, that really, really affected me, ya know? The thing is we never got a chance to reconcile, we never made peace with each other and it really bothers me now. ‘Cuz it’s something that would have happened, if she would have lived.”

Anyone who has watched wrestling for any length of time knows that Sean “X-Pac” Waltman has been through the ringer quite often. He has wrestled around the world and for a large number of promotions other than WWE while battling numerous personal problems. Still, it does appear as if he’s trying to make things right in his life and learn how to deal with the death of Joanie “Chyna” Laurer and possibly having to serve some jail time.
