Farrah Abraham doesn't want to have more children, a choice that she came to on her own after giving birth to her daughter, Sophia, when she was still a teenager. The Teen Mom OG star recently talked to Hollywood Life about her decision to not get pregnant again -- and then went on to slam other Teen Mom stars for their decisions to have more children.
"It's definitely been my choice, every day, to not have another child at this time, and I think that's allowed me to really be sure that I have relationships with the right people. I don't need more children if it's not right, and I know the environment that I need to feel happy and satisfied, and if I don't have that right now I'm not going to rush that," Abraham told Hollywood Life.
Abraham has made the right choice for her by not growing her family, but she didn't back down when she saw a way to take a shot at her fellow Teen Moms.
Maci Bookout has three children, son Bentley, 7, with ex Ryan Edwards, and a daughter named Jayde, 14 months, with her new husband, Taylor McKinney, and a newborn son, Maverick. She also recently told People Magazine that she and McKinney want more children.
"We've both have talked about adoption or fostering in the future, down the road, but we're not [having kids] biologically. For both of us, it's one of those things where if we are capable of providing a stable home, healthy relationships and some hope for a child who may not have that or ever experienced it, then we want to," she said. After giving their first child up for adoption, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcomed daughter Novalee Reign. Lowell suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth, and that's keeping her from getting pregnant again.
"I've definitely been thinking about it and that's the one thing that's holding me back, honestly. Especially because they say if you've had postpartum once, you have a higher chance of getting it with your next," Lowell said.
This summer, Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry is set to welcome her third child. Leah Messer is also a mother of three.
"It's what they welcome in their lives. Maybe they feel comfortable and they're satisfied with where they are. I don't feel like while I'm filming Teen Mom that I should 'pro-create.' Some people, that's just what they believe in, and they'll just keep popping out kiddos," Abraham told Hollywood Life.
She went on to call her Teen Mom OG co-stars "freak shows" and said that she wouldn't be inviting them to her wedding.Of course, this isn't the first time that Farrah Abraham knocked her Teen Mom co-stars. She and Amber Portwood have been feuding forever and she has even had beef with Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout from time to time. She tells Hollywood Life that the other girls are "jealous" of her.
"I've had multiple times where Catelynn has apologized and apologized for her behavior with me, as well as jealousy and little act outs from [Maci] — Amber, as well. I don't know where [their] jealousy stems from. I think it's just their inner hatred towards themselves, but I don't need to contribute or be friends. It's like high school. I don't aspire to talk to people like that or have people like that around me," she said.
