Sonja Morgan Proves She Doesn’t Need The Berkshires To Have A Fabulous Weekend

Sonja Morgan wants her Real Housewives of New York co-stars to know that she has changed her behavior from a couple of years ago. When Sonja was going through her personal bankruptcy case, she was heartbroken and saddened. The bankruptcy case happened while she was also dealing with some emotional issues in regards to her divorce. This all played out on the show, but she is now telling her co-stars that she’s not drinking as much, and it is devastating that she’s being left out of the fun on the show. She’s referring to the trip to the Berkshires last year where Dorinda Medley chose to leave her behind in New York City.

According to a new social media post, Sonja Morgan is proving that she doesn’t need Dorinda Medley’s massive home in the Berkshires or her Real Housewives of New York co-stars to have a fabulous weekend away. Even though Morgan was left out of the trip to the Berkshires last year, it sounds like Morgan is happy to let everyone know that she knows how to relax during a weekend out of the city. This weekend, she spent time in Sag Harbor, which is where Luann D’Agostino has her home.

“My #sagharbor breakfast the morning after Michael Lorber’s tres chic dinner party lol Need the Diet Coke,” Sonja Morgan revealed on social media, sharing a picture of her breakfast in Sag Harbor this weekend.

In the post, she gives thanks to Michael Lorber for his dinner party the night before. Lorber already has a relationship with Bravo, as he starred on the first season of Million Dollar Listing: New York alongside Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant.

It is very interesting to see that Sonja Morgan is letting everyone know she doesn’t need the Berkshires to have a fabulous weekend. And no word on whether any of her The Real Housewives of New York co-stars partied with her this weekend. While Morgan was in Sag Harbor, Bethenny Frankel shared pictures on Instagram of herself in the Hamptons at her own home. It doesn’t sound like the two ladies met up during their weekend away.

Of course, Sonja Morgan may be sending a message to Dorinda Medley with this post. The weekend from last year’s trip to the Berkshires, filmed in December, is now playing out on The Real Housewives of New York. Here, Sonja reveals that she hasn’t forgiven Dorinda for not inviting her. Fans are actually shocked that Medley invited Morgan to her home, as she hinted that Dorinda was doing drugs last year during the Real Housewives of New York reunion.

“I really have to ask once again: Dorinda was protecting me from what in the Berkshires? The same drama I have been dealing with since way before her? She was not protecting me. She was dividing me from my group. She should have been mediating and getting this worked out before it escalated. Friends nurture and help, we accept each other,” Sonja Morgan wrote on her blog for The Real Housewives of New York last season. “I have accepted her as is from the beginning. She is a hot mess everywhere and at any occasion slurring her words and screaming, and I take her the way she is because I love her.”

But Medley may not be Morgan’s biggest problems on this season of the show. It sounds like she is fighting more with Tinsley Mortimer than with Dorinda this season.
