Kim Kardashian Silences Kanye West Split Rumors: How ‘KUWTK’ Couple Has Saved Marriage Post-Robbery Attack

Kim Kardashian celebrated her third wedding anniversary with Kanye West on May 24, and according to reports, she has marked this one of the most important dates since getting together with the rapper.

The past year had proven itself to have been the most challenging one yet for Kim Kardashian, who not only found herself held at gunpoint before being robbed of her personal possessions, but also deal with her husband’s infamous mental breakdown the month after.

Following the robbery ordeal in Paris back in October, Kim Kardashian struggled to face reality again, as she opted to recluse herself from the public, having feared that a similar incident could potentially happen again.

At the time, Kanye was still on his North American tour, so him not being around to comfort Kim Kardashian certainly affected the reality star’s mood and level of comfort.

Of course, just weeks after the incident, Kanye started his act of rants in the middle of performances, where he used his touring stage as a platform to slam the likes of Beyonce and Hillary Clinton — days after having made some shocking allegations about both stars, the father-of-two was hospitalized involuntarily.

These two incidents that occurred in a short matter of time had a huge affect on Kim Kardashian’s marriage — their relationship turned sour, according to sources at the time, as Us Weekly added that the TV star had even considered the chances of potentially filing for divorce.

It wasn’t so much that Kim Kardashian had fallen out of love with her husband, but with what had transpired, it made it incredibly difficult for the couple to support one another since they were both dealing with their own problems that had somewhat made it hard for Kim and Kanye to love one another as they had prior to the incidents.

A source tells Hollywood Life that Kim Kardashian is just proud of the fact that she was able to move past that chapter of her life, but most importantly, she was able to get her marriage back on track with Kanye and celebrate her third wedding anniversary as a much happier pair.

“Kanye [West] and Kim [Kardashian] are getting to a better place,” the insider explains. “From his breakdown and her robbery there was plenty of collateral damage that stemmed from those episodes that threw their relationship in a bit of a tailspin, but they are now looking at this anniversary as sort of a rebirth.”

“They are very happy that they are both alive, have wonderful kids and they got through some bad times together, which has since proven to them both that this marriage is actually meant to be. They are not taking this anniversary lightly and are both telling each other how much they love each other. They intend to get better and better and stronger moving forward as well. They are not looking back now, only moving forward as a cohesive unit.”

Kim Kardashian is said to feel blessed that she and Kanye were able to conquer all the problems that came their way throughout the year and still choose to fight through their issues and remain together.

It’s been challenging, to say the least, and though it seemed like the duo were close to parting ways from one another, through the supposed help of therapy and reported breaks from one another, Kim Kardashian and Kanye were able to save their marriage.

It’s been reported that prior to celebrating their third wedding anniversary, West had been traveling to different states so that he could clear his mind and focus his attention on making new music, with reports claiming that the rapper wants to release another album very soon, TMZ affirms.

Kim Kardashian’s husband has kept a relatively low profile in recent months, and sources say that it’s mainly because Kanye has wanted to clear his mind away from the photographers and the press. He just needed some alone time to come better being a stronger person, and it seems to have worked.
