Lisa Vanderpump Salary: LVP Now The Highest Paid ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Cast?

Lisa Vanderpump is reportedly returning for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 after getting a “very lucrative” deal from Bravo. A new report revealed that following the successful contract negotiations, Vanderpump is now the highest paid housewife. How much exactly will the RHOBH star be making this season?

According to Radar Online, Lisa Vanderpump has agreed to return for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 after the Bravo execs bumped up her salary by quite a bit. Although the insider did not reveal how much exactly is Vanderpump’s salary when RHOBH Season 8 rolls in, it was said that she is now the highest paid housewife.

“Lisa has decided to return for season 8 after getting a very lucrative deal that she simply could not refuse,” the insider said.

Putting the substantial salary increase aside, Lisa Vanderpump also agreed to return for the next season because she was reportedly happy with how Bravo was highlighting her charitable causes. Last season, fans of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw the cast fly to Hong Kong in support of Vanderpump’s advocacy, Stop Yulin Forever, a grassroots movement to put a stop to the inhumane torture and slaughter of dogs in China.

“Lisa is very pleased with the direction that last season took, highlighting all of her charitable causes,” the source said.

Apart from her salary on TheReal Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump is also making money off her spinoff reality show Vanderpump Rules, which has already been renewed for Season 6.

In February, Parade dubbed Lisa Vanderpump as “one of the wealthiest housewives” today. According to the website, Vanderpump has a net income of $65 million, the majority coming from the 20 restaurants she owns with husband Ken Todd.

Vanderpump earns a pretty penny from starring on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to Gazette Review, she made a whopping $500,000 in Season 5, almost double from what she earned in Season 4. This figure surfaced when her co-star Brandi Glanville spoke about how underpaid she was compared to the other housewives. At that time, The Young and The Restless star Eileen Davidson was reportedly the highest paid RHOBH star with a $750,000 salary. In Season 5, the other Beverly Hills housewives were reportedly earning $450,000- 500,000.

Early this week, Lisa Vanderpump told The Sun that nothing has been decided yet for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 following the “brutal” Season 7. Following the launch of Vanderpump Dogs, the 56-year-old reality star said that she will have to figure out if she can handle running the dog center and managing her restaurants, all while being a part of RHOBH.

“Nothing has been decided yet for Season 8. I’m still in the middle of Vanderpump Rules and I need to see if I have the time to film both shows and also run the dog center,” she explained.

In the interview, Vanderpump said that she was very thankful that Bravo allowed her shows, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules, to serve as a platform to educate people on the cruelty and health risks of dog meat. Her advocacy to stop the dog meat trade in China has definitely gained traction, with the help of her co-stars lending their voice to the movement.

“Our dog foundation will continue to fight this barbaric torture of dogs for their meat. We are celebrating the fact they are hearing us and we are taking small steps of progress. What we are against is the fact they torture the dogs and I am so grateful to Bravo for allowing us to highlight this on Housewives,” Vanderpump said.
