Are Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Faking Their Relationship For Cameras?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship is rumored to have hit a rough patch. And some reports claim that instead of getting engaged, the Voice judges are on the verge of ending their relationship. Moreover, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly pretending to be madly in love for the cameras only.

The Voice producers were hoping that Blake Shelton would propose to Gwen Stefani on the show, but the former refused to do that because the couple was contemplating separation, Life & Style reported. It also quoted a source as saying that the two were only pretending to be “very affectionate and playful with each other” as they were being pushed to act like that.

The pressure is on Gwen and Blake to give The Voice a must-see moment, especially with American Idol set to make a comeback on ABC.

The source also said that when the cameras were not rolling, “Gwen’s miserable.”

Recently, there has been a deluge of rumors that claim that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are always arguing, and they might split soon. However, Gossip Cop, the rumor-busting site, says that none of the rumors about them are true, including the report that The Voice co-stars are faking their relationship for the cameras.

The site said that Life & Style‘s report was “flawed, and fatally so,” adding that the report was published a day after The Voice Season 12 ended. And the 47-year-old singer is not going to be part of the next two seasons of the reality singing competition.

“Why, then, would she be feeling ‘pressure’ to carry on the relationship in front of ‘The Voice’ cameras? And shouldn’t the tabloid’s ‘source’ and ‘insider’ know that Stefani is effectively done with the show for the foreseeable future? The timing of this piece makes no sense.”

The report also asked that if Gwen Stefani were faking it for the camera, she would not have uploaded a video of herself and Blake Shelton to her social media account.

It is not the first time that Gossip Cop has debunked rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship. Earlier this month, it stated that the In Touch report that claimed that the 40-year-old country music singer had dumped Gwen Stefani was fake.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life recently reported, citing a source close to the couple, that Gwen Stefani was expecting a marriage proposal from her boyfriend soon.

“Gwen is preparing herself to become Mrs. Gwen Shelton because she feels Blake is going to pop the question any day now, maybe even this weekend. Gwen has never been happier and it is all because of Blake.”

The report also said that Blake Shelton was always surprising his girlfriend of nearly two and a half years and they were “totally” in love. Moreover, Gwen Stefani feels that her boyfriend will soon surprise her with an engagement ring.

“He is constantly surprising her by doing sweet romantic things for her, they are totally in love, and she feels his next romantic surprise will be an engagement ring!”

Earlier this month, the site also reported the couple’s summer plans. The two are reportedly heading to the country singer’s lake house in Oklahoma.

“Blake’s planning to take Gwen to his place on Lake Texoma this summer. He wants to take her boating and fishing and all that fun lake stuff.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been quite open about their relationship, and they have never shied away from public display of affection. During their recent public appearances, they have not shown signs of being in a miserable relationship.

At the Billboard Music Awards on May 21, Blake Shelton told the audience during his acceptance speech — he had won the top country artist award — that he felt like he was “the luckiest guy in the room” because Gwen Stefani was there with him.
