Matt Baier Admits He Had Relapsed On Drugs When He Flipped Out On Fiancee Amber

Matt Baier is in some serious hot water for cheating allegations and failing lie detector tests to prove his faithfulness, but he’s also been blasted by fans of Teen Mom OG for the way he flipped out on his fiancee, Amber Portwood, on the most recent episode of the show.

During the episode that aired on Monday, May 22, Baier was seen pressuring Amber Portwood to marry him in Las Vegas. The pair were there for the wedding of two of their friends who had already decided on the venue, and Matt Baier was ready to walk down the aisle with Amber immediately.

Amber, however, had second thoughts. The mother of one had already been hesitant to walk down the aisle with her beau, and when he asked her to marry him immediately, she phoned her brother, Shawn, to see if he would be upset if they got married without him.

After a few minutes of deliberation, Amber Portwood determined that she didn’t want to marry Matt Baier without her brother, mother, and daughter by her side, which is perfectly reasonable to most human beings. However, Baier didn’t see it that way.

Instead of accepting his fiancee’s wishes to have her family by her side when she got married, he went on a tirade about her family, stating that he felt Amber wanted to marry her brother instead of him. He later said he would never marry her and called her a “f**king psycho,” saying he was done with her and would fake their relationship for the rest of the day, but not a moment longer.

He is then seen telling one of the producers that she cannot put what just happened on television since he was “embarrassed by his fiancee in front of 12 million people.” The producer tried to talk him out of his embarrassment, explaining Amber’s side again, but he wasn’t having it.

Matt Baier and Amber have both struggled with addiction to prescription pills, and Baier admitted that this was the reason he was so unreasonable with his future wife during the scene.

“I had a drug relapse this year for the first time with prescription pills.”

Baier also added that he cried when he watched the episode back because it “wasn’t him” who was appearing on the show.

“That person that I was watching was not me, it’s not who I am. I remember getting really upset and I felt a lot of shame.

Also, what I said is completely not how I feel and also it didn’t make sense. I do know that I allowed myself to have my buttons pushed that day, I just don’t remember it all that well.”

They just caught me on a really bad day.”

When I saw that piece of tape I had no idea that even existed — that wasn’t me. I completely blacked out. I was selfish. I was rambling.”

It was reported last week that Amber and Matt had broken up, which made everyone who watches the show breathe a sigh of relief. However, she has stated that they are still living together and now even considering releasing a sex tape.

The pair are saving up to open rehab centers for drug addicts all over the world, and Amber and Matt Baier see doing an X-rated tape as a calculated business move.

“It’s in consideration. I still have not made up my mind. I am not strapped for cash. I have a nice house, a nice life. I have everything I need. But I’m a business person,” she said.

Of course, Farrah Abraham accused the star of trying to copy her, as she is thus far the only Teen Mom to have released a sex tape.
