Joy-Anna Duggar Already Married To Austin Forsyth? Being Engaged Not Enough, Wedding May Have Happened

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth announced that they are courting last November, just a day after Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding. Since then, their relationship has been on the fast track. Joy and Austin got engaged in the new year and have set the wedding date on her 20th birthday, October 28th, 2017. But the fans are speculating whether she has already gotten married to her future husband, under the radar.

It has been revealed by several sources that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth already obtained their marriage license, even though their wedding is months away. To those unfamiliar with the American way of getting married, the couple has to obtain a marriage license before they can legally get married. While in most states, they can do it just a few days before the actual wedding, it looks like Joy-Anna wanted to get it obtained much earlier.

The fans in Arkansas unearthed a marriage license announcement, which revealed that the 19-year-old Duggar and her 23-year-old future husband got theirs this past week.

It seems like Joy-Anna is eager to move away from being engaged to fully married. In the video that her father Jim Bob Duggar made for Mother’s Day, the bride-to-be used the opportunity to express just how much she wants to start having babies.

“I’m so thankful for you, mama, even more recently helping with all the wedding planning, helping me just not get stressed out about all that,” she said in the video posted on family blog. “Can’t wait to be a mother myself.”

While some fans are guessing that she may have already had her wedding and got married, her registry still says that her wedding is slated for October 28th, 2017.

Others have noted that the wedding planning stress may have gotten to her, as Joy-Anna appeared in some photos looking thinner than ever.

“I couldn’t believe that was joy,” Lori Ta commented on a picture the Duggars uploaded on the Facebook. “She lost weight! Wow. So beautiful! Like jessa said to Jinger, must fit into her wedding dress. But then jessa was very much thin when she got married!”

Some people noted how it is not very healthy for girls to drop a lot of weight just because they are getting married.

“I hardly recognized Joy with her being so much thinner here than in other photos,” Rose Galston wrote. “Why do the Duggar girls all seem to become so thin while they are courting? Is it that stressful for them? She looked fine before the weight loss.”

As a couple, Joy-Anna and Austin have been appearing on the Duggar family Facebook a lot more often. Not only was he included in the promotional photos for the reality TV show, Jill & Jessa Counting On, but he also has been integrated as a part of the family, helping younger ones get the hang of fixing cars and flying planes.

Her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have been keeping a close eye on the couple as they go through courtship and engagement. To celebrate Austin’s 23rd birthday, the parents arranged a double date with the young couple so that they can keep their intentions pure during the night out.

But Joy and Austin also fight for their rights to hang out with couples their age. They posted a picture with Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell, with whom they also went on a camping trip, which was their take on bachelor and bachelorette party.

In fact, it sounds like Kendra was the one that thought of this brilliant idea for the outdoor-loving couple.

“We were trying to think of ideas for what we should do for our bachelor and bachelorette party and actually Ms. Caldwell was the one that thought about a camping trip and floating down the river,” 19-year-old Duggar said in a new Counting On clip.
