Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood's most notable actors, and one of the world's sexiest men, is reportedly prepared and more-than-willing to open up about his trials and tribulations since his dramatic split from Angelina Jolie. The star is ready to take his story to print and it's likely that fans and followers will snap up a copy of anything the heartthrob publishes, to find out his side of the story and about how he has coped.
It was certainly a shock to many when Brangelina met its demise and Jolie made a public announcement that she was splitting from Pitt. What was even more surprising and unsettling was that an FBI investigation was launched against Brad for alleged child abuse of their 15-year-old son Maddox. Pitt was quickly cleared of any wrong-doing and Angelina was then seen as somewhat cold-hearted and calculated for her actions in the earlier days of the separation.
Jolie finally spoke out in a sit-down interview with BBC and Good Morning America, showing a softer side and speaking lovingly about her kids and her family. The Cut reminds of Angelina's words to BBC during her interview.
"We are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it...Everything I do, I hope, is that I represent something and I represent the right things to my children and give the right sense of what they're capable of and … the world as it should be seen."Although Pitt has been more private and not spoken out much about his difficult times since the separation, a source indicates that the star has been writing regularly in his journal, detailing events and feelings on certain critical matters. The said source shares that Brad is eager to publish his words to give more insight into the breakdown of his relationship with Jolie and to share how he has coped with losing custody of his six children. In Touch notes the words of the insider.
"At the beginning it was just to get all of his thoughts out there in a very concise manner so that he could share it with his therapist. But it started to become a lifeline for Brad as he pieced together his new life without Angie. [Brad] is extremely blunt and authentic in describing what led to the breakdown of his marriage to Angie...Angie said she wasn't interested in reading it and expressed concern about Brad releasing any sort of book because of the impact it could have on their kids."

"I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that. I mean, I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know — things I wasn't dealing with. It's just become a problem."Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come to a place of amicable understanding and an agreement has recently been made that Jolie would have full custody of their six children.
