Bonner Bolton Plots His Next Move For Date With ‘DWTS’ Crush Normani Kordei

Bonner Bolton is ready to get serious about a date with his Dancing With The stars co-star. Now that the finals are over, the pro bull rider says it’s time to get moving on that long-awaited date with Normani Kordei. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bolton revealed that he wanted to give the Fifth Harmony star some space as she competed in the final round of the ABC celebrity ballroom competition. But now that it’s a done deal (the singer landed in third place), Bonner is ready to seal the deal with his Dancing With the Stars crush.

Normani admitted to ET’s Cameron Mathison that she did say she would go on a date with Bonner once the finals were over. But the pop singer added that Bolton hasn’t tried to make plans with her yet.

“We’ll see what happens, I’ll let you know,” Kordei teased.

Bonner explained that Normani has been busy with a full-on competition and that he had been rooting for her to win.

“I haven’t come up with the best strategy [for a date] because we’ve all been so busy,” Bolton told ET.

“But I hope after everything settles down maybe she’ll rethink about it and I’ll have the opportunity to ask.”

Bonner said he is completely serious about wanting to take his Dancing With the Stars co-star out for a night on the town.

“She’s amazing,” Bolton said.

In case you need a refresher, Bonner Bolton previously asked Normani on a date during a new Facebook Live interview with Entertainment Tonight. In the interview, Bolton revealed that he was planning to ask the Fifth Harmony star for her number.

“You know what, I love that girl,” Bonner said.

“She is just so beautiful inside and out… I think she is a beautiful lady, and if she asked me out on a date, I would sure enough go.”

Bolton then looked into the camera and said it would be “an honor” to take Normani out and he asked her if she would go on a date with him.

Normani told ET she would definitely consider going on a date with Bonner.

At the time, the Fifth Harmony star was still training for the DWTS finals with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. It’s no wonder the pro dancer had a few words to say about his protégé’s possible date with Bonner Bolton.

“Wait, wait, wait! Not this week because we got things to do this week, but maybe a week after that,” Chmerkovskiy joked of his partner’s upcoming date with Bolton.

“I need an address, where you’re going on a date, what kind of menu there’s going to be. There’s no drinking involved because she’s not even 21 yet.”

Normani has already revealed that Bonner Bolton is her type of guy.

“He is such a sweetheart, he’s such a gentleman,” she said of Bolton, according to Just Jared Jr.

“From day one, he’s had such a special place in my heart. I think a little of it is we’re from Texas — me, him and Simone, but I just love his aura and the gentleman in him.”

Incidentally, if Bonner does finally score a date with Normani, he will have the full support of his Dancing With the Stars pro partner, Sharna Burgess. Burgess told ET she thinks Bonner should definitely take his DWTS crush out, and it probably doesn’t hurt that it will take attention off of her own romance rumors. For most of the season, Sharna was rumored to have a thing with the hunky pro bull rider.
