‘Teen Mom OG’ Fans Are Concerned As Ryan Edwards Faces Rumors Regarding His Alleged Use Of Drugs
Ryan Edwards had exhibited some strange behavior in recent weeks on Teen Mom OG, and on Monday night, during the latest episode of the show, his former girlfriend received shocking news about his health.
While Maci Bookout, the mother of Ryan Edwards’ eight-year-old son, Bentley Edwards, didn’t reveal what she learned, several fans online have suggested he could be struggling with some sort of addiction.
“WOW! [Ryan Edwards] was the worst he’s ever been this last episode during the venue search. Someone needs to get him help like yesterday,” a user wrote, according to a report by OK! Magazine on May 24.
Although Ryan Edwards has faced rumors of drug use for the past two seasons of Teen Mom OG, there hasn’t yet been any physical evidence of any drug use, nor has he confirmed ever using drugs. That said, fans appear to be convinced that he is hiding something from the cameras.
“[Ryan Edwards]’s drug issues are not surprising. His eyes always look like they want to pop out of their sockets. I hope he gets help,” one person said.
“[Ryan Edwards] being a druggie is no surprise to us, Maci,” another added.
According to a report by Wetpaint Entertainment on May 23, Maci Bookout may be staying mum, but when it comes to the text message she received from a friend, the outlet noted that it was “pretty obvious the bombshell is that he’s on drugs.” Wetpaint Entertainment also shared a number of screenshots taken by fans which seemed to show that Ryan Edwards was “clearly on something.”

In addition to the backlash regarding Ryan Edwards’ alleged drug use, his fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer, has also come under fire for potentially allowing his extracurricular activities.
“[Ryan Edwards]’s fiancée has to be in this for something else if he’s that deep into drugs and she hasn’t been with him long,” someone wrote.
“What the heck is going on with [Ryan Edwards]’s crazy eyes!!!! It’s creepy,” another viewer added.
After sharing a photo of herself and Ryan Edwards earlier this week, Mackenzie Standifer came under fire for allegedly failing to put her child first as she continued her relationship with Edwards.
“Stop being desperate to have a man don’t settle for an addict put your child first,” the woman wrote.
Others noted that Ryan Edwards appeared to be much healthier in the photo and said they hoped he would stay sober.

Another person on Instagram took aim at Ryan Edwards’ fiance for allegedly starting unnecessary drama with his ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout, during a previous episode of the show.
“Thought you were pretty good… a little awkward but ok… and then when you went back and said Maci was talking crap that was messed up. You obviously wanted to start crap. I never liked Maci but she has her s**t together from day one she works hard to be a good mother and to do the right thing in this whole situation for years.”
The fan went on to encourage Standifer to watch and listen to what went down and hopefully realize that she was in the wrong. The fan also said that Standifer acted as she did because she was either “desperate” or simply enjoyed the drama.
