Kate Middleton Beauty: Duchess Named Ultimate Icon For Women

Kate Middleton is known for her seemingly effortless beauty. The duchess steps out on the regular looking radiant in pristine ensembles that make it obvious as to why she is considered the most fashionable royal. The Kate Effect is very much in full force as consumers snap up anything that the Duchess of Cambridge dons or makes use of. This effect spans not only the products Kate buys but also her techniques for achieving her stunning complexion and perfectly-styled tresses

Well, it seems that Middleton’s beauty techniques and beauty regimens are the most emulated by women around the world seeing as the duchess has been named top beauty icon for women, beating out front-runners such as Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and former X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

The Sun notes details as to the newest title that Middleton has acquired.

“Six out of ten women said they regularly copied Kate’s look, choice of make up or hair style. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who recently posted a picture on Instagram of her bathroom cabinet, crammed full of around 70 beauty products, was third. This Morning host Holly Willoughby was fourth and Angelina Jolie was fifth. Others legendary beauties to make the list include late Breakfast At Tiffany’s actress Audrey Hepburn and Hollywood stunner Michelle Pfeiffer.”

Others on the list included Emilia Clarke, who ranked ninth, while Keira Knightley, of the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise, completed the top 10 with the tenth spot. Cindy Crawford, Megan Fox, and Kate Beckinsale were a little further down the list. Scarlett Johanasson, Jennifer Lopez, and Blake Lively came just behind Kelly Brook, who ranked 14th.

Over this weekend, Kate Middleton has proven once more why she is deserving of such a title focusing on beauty and fashion sense. The stunner came very near to stealing the spotlight at sister Pippa’s wedding on Saturday. There were rumors leading up to the big day involving worries that Kate’s presence would take away from Pippa’s big day, yet the duchess was the picture of modesty and grace, helping her sister at various moments during the ceremony and keeping an eye on the children involved in the ceremony, such as Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

As for Kate’s attire at the ceremony that was held in Englefield, Elle reminds that the duchess chose a dress by the same designer who created her remarkable wedding gown for her own wedding back in 2011.

“…for her sister’s big day, many speculated that Kate would choose something that wouldn’t steal the spotlight ?though Pippa famously made quite the impression at the royal wedding. And true to her royal style, Kate chose a gorgeous look for the occasion: a light pink dress ?also Alexander McQueen! (royal wedding flashbacks!)?and matching fascinator.”

It was a scene that inspired flashbacks to the Royal Wedding of 2011 when Kate was seen helping Pippa with her train just before she made her way down the aisle. Pippa found her way onto the scene by acting as the duchess’ maid of honor at Kate’s wedding to Prince William, and a similar image was snapped of the younger sister to the duchess also helping with the train on Kate’s Alexander McQueen gown.

As for the other royals in attendance, Prince William arrived with his younger brother Prince Harry, who was not accompanied by Meghan Markle at the ceremony. Harry’s Suits star girlfriend was not present at the nuptials, but it has been reported that the prince drove a lengthy distance to collect Markle for the evening reception. The actress looked stunning in a shimmering dress, and perhaps will make her way up the beauty icon list over upcoming months seeing as she is becoming more present in the spotlight than ever before.
