Angelina Jolie’s Kids Enjoy Shopping Trip Amid Brad Pitt Divorce

Angelina Jolie was seen shopping with her children earlier this week in Los Angeles.

As she and Brad Pitt continue to work out the details of their divorce and custody battle, Angelina Jolie is focused on her kids and treated two of her oldest children, 13-year-old Pax and 12-year-old Zahara, to a visit to Fred Segal on Thursday.

On Friday, May 19, X17 Online shared a report claiming Angelina Jolie and her family were likely picking up gifts for her oldest biological child’s birthday next week. As the outlet revealed, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turns 11 next Thursday, May 25.

In photos, Angelina Jolie is seen in a long flowing gown and stylish glasses as her kids sported more casual looks in jeans and hooded jackets.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed daughter Shiloh in 2006, just one year after confirming their romance, which began on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. As fans will recall, the couple’s romance caused quite the stir, especially after Jolie admitted that they fell in love on set.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt adopted three children, Maddox, 15, from Cambodia, Pax, 13, from Vietnam, and Zahara, 12, from Ethiopia, and they welcomed three more kids biologically, including 10-year-old Shiloh and eight-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016 after celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary just weeks prior. As Us Weekly revealed at the time of their anniversary, the couple spent a romantic evening together at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

“It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it,” a source told the magazine. “They left the next day… They want to keep the love alive.”

Unfortunately, their love seemingly took a turn for the worse shortly thereafter, and as TMZ reported, Angelina Jolie not only filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, she also requested she be granted full physical custody of their children

Although Angelina Jolie didn’t release a personal statement at the time, sources claimed her decision to split from Brad Pitt was due to “a conflict over the kids, substance abuse and anger.” In addition, the source claimed Jolie was asking a judge to restrict Pitt to visitation.

“[Angelina Jolie]’s decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children… she was extremely upset with his methods,” the outlet revealed to readers.

According to the report, Angelina Jolie became “fed up” with her now-estranged husband’s alleged use of drugs and alcohol and felt his reported anger issues were dangerous for their kids.

Months later, during an interview with BBC News, Angelina Jolie opened up about her split from Brad Pitt and admitted that she and her kids were going through a difficult time.

“I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and… and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it,” she said, according to a report by People Magazine.

“My whole, my family… we’ve all being through a difficult time,” Angelina Jolie continued. “My focus is my children, our children… and my focus is finding this way through. We are and forever will be a family. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.”

“Usually, I just wake up trying to figure out who’s going to get [the] dog out, who’s going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth,” she added.
