‘Sister Wives’ Update: Kody Brown Slams Separation Rumors, Posts New Family Pic

Sister Wives star Kody Brown quietly squashed separation rumors by posting a new picture showing his large polygamous family. The Brown family has always been hounded by controversies due to its unconventional lifestyle, but it seems that Kody’s clan is still one big, happy family.

The photo shows all four sister wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, seated at the front and surrounded by their children. Standing behind the women is Kody, smiling happily for the camera. The family members are matching in red and denim, and it looks like the picture is lifted from an old photo shoot. It was originally posted by Logan Brown, Janelle and Kody’s eldest child, as a tribute to the four moms on Mother’s Day.

“Want to thank these mamas for everything!” Logan wrote in the caption. He included the hashtag “#4moms” to emphasize his family’s polygamous set-up. The Instagram post is also a slideshow which includes solo photos of Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn.

Kody did not compose his own greeting to his four wives, but he did retweet the photo, proving that all is well within the Sister Wives family. While their TLC reality show is currently on hold, many fans have been wondering what the famous polygamous family has been up to.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Kody and his wives have not been as active on social media, and it seems that Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn now have their own businesses separate from the family’s. Their social media accounts also hint that they are currently spending time apart from each other.

Now, Kody and his wives are back on social media to slam such rumors. Recently, the Sister Wives had a mini-reunion when two of their 18 children graduated from college on the same day. On May 14, Meri and Christine snapped a rare selfie together when they attended Meri’s daughter, Mariah’s, graduation in Utah.

Meanwhile, Janelle attended her son, Logan’s, graduation from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Meri and Janelle both publicly congratulated each other and their kids for this remarkable event in their lives.

While Robyn Brown did not join the public display of affection with the rest of the sister wives, Janelle insisted that there was no trouble among the Sister Wives family. On Mother’s Day, Janelle replied to a tweet as to how polygamous families celebrate the occasion. Kody’s second wife said that they all celebrated it together as one unit.

Christine posted a photo taken on Mother’s Day, showing her daughter, Gwendlyn, and Janelle’s daughter, Maddie, together. Maddie Brown is currently on the last stretch of her pregnancy and is expected to give birth to a baby boy this month. Maddie was also present in her brother, Logan’s, graduation and many fans noted that her belly has now “dropped.” This means that she is close to giving birth now.

Maddie married husband, Caleb Brush, in June, 2016, and announced her pregnancy last November. In an interview with People Magazine, Maddie expressed her joy in having the baby born into a large, unconventional family.

“We think it would be super cute to have different names for all the grandmas, like oma, grams or babicka. Grandma said differently or in different languages. Ultimately they get to choose what they are called but my dad [Kody] will probably be grandpa.”

TLC has yet to announce if Sister Wives will be renewed for another season. However, the network still gives occasional updates regarding Kody Brown’s family. Recently, TLC released pictures from Maddie’s pregnancy photo shoot, showing her adorable baby bump. Maddie’s baby with husband Caleb Brush will be the first grandchild for Kody Brown and the whole Sister Wives family.
