Are Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Cooling Off And Headed For A Split?
Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, are facing rumors of an upcoming breakup after just over a year of dating.
According to a new report, Lambert and East, who recently faced rumors of a possibly impending wedding, are now being accused of being on the verge of a split.
“He told her he wants to take a break,” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine, according to a report by OK! Magazine on May 17.
As the magazine’s insider explained, Miranda Lambert reportedly wants to settle down, but Anderson Eason isn’t quite ready to take the next step in their relationship and now wants to cool things off with the country singer.
“[Miranda Lambert] really felt they were meant to be together. And they still may be — Anderson is only cooling things off,” the source said. “But that doesn’t take away the sting for Miranda.”
The source went on to reveal that while Miranda Lambert believed they were on the same page about what they wanted for their future, Anderson East simply isn’t in the same place of wanting to get married.
Miranda Lambert began dating Anderson East at the end of 2015, months after splitting from her former husband, Blake Shelton. As fans may recall, the country singers were married for four years prior to their July 2015 divorce.

“[Miranda Lambert] really loves Anderson and thought they were doing so well…She believed she and Anderson connected on so many levels,” the insider continued.
Meanwhile, the source added that Anderson East “knew it was going to hurt her but he also knows they’re both just not ready for this.”
Although Miranda Lambert may have lost hope for her future with Anderson East, the report went on to reveal that there may be hope for a future wedding. In fact, while East is reportedly not ready to wed at this point in time, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he isn’t open to marrying Miranda Lambert one day.
“He’s not counting out them getting back together or even marrying someday. He just couldn’t see them marrying now,” said the source.
That said, “[Miranda Lambert] still feels like she’s been dumped by someone she loves so much.”
Miranda Lambert and Anderson East confirmed their relationship in January 2016 after facing romance rumors for weeks. At the time, Lambert shared a photo of the two of them on her Instagram page which featured the couple cuddling under a red flannel blanket. The couple was then seen singing a duet during a February 14 show at The Pearl Club in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have appeared on a number of red carpets together and made their official red carpet debut at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada, and they went on to be seen together at the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, the couple walked the red carpet at the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards.
At the time of their most recent appearance, wedding rumors started to swirl due to Miranda Lambert’s long white gown, which appeared to have bridal inspiration. Meanwhile, her boyfriend kept his attire seemingly wedding-related as well with a simple black tuxedo.
