Putin’s Trump Tapes: Putin’s Transcripts, Not Audio Recordings, Of Trump’s Russian White House Meeting Coming

Less than one week ago, Twitter reported that the search term “Oval Office bugged” was a popular term, as reported by the Inquisitr. On Wednesday, May 17, talk about recording devices in the White House is surging once more, with Vladimir Putin saying that he is willing to turn over the transcript, but not any audio recordings, of what President Donald Trump recently said during his meeting with Russians in the White House, according to the Independent.

President Trump took to Twitter to admit that he shared what he claimed were facts about ISIS for humanitarian reasons with the Russian officials in the White House. Putin claims that the transcript of Trump’s words exchanged with foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and the Russian ambassador to the U.S., Sergei Kislyak, will prove that President Trump didn’t share top secret codeword classified intelligence with the Russian men.

However, the newly released claims of Russian President Putin have brought more questions in the wake of the revelation that the Trump meeting in the Oval Office may have been taped. With President Trump roundly criticized for allowing a Russian Foreign Ministry photographer and his equipment in the White House’s Oval Office, whilst allowing no American reporters in the meeting, folks are curious about whether the meeting in the White House was recorded, and if so, whether or not U.S. officials knew the White House meeting was being recorded. A Kremlin aide stated that that President Putin wouldn’t share any audio tapes of the controversial meeting.

President Trump, meanwhile, is embroiled in other controversies beyond the potential release of the transcript of the meeting with Russian officials in the White House. As seen in the below CNN video, President Trump is dealing with what some are calling a Watergate-sized scandal when news broke that former FBI Director James Comey reported that President Trump asked Comey to stop investigating former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Comey wrote in a memorandum that President Trump asked him to let the Flynn situation go.

As first drafts of the “Articles of Impeachment for Donald J. Trump” go viral via Slate, showing what an impeachment bill for President Trump could look like, President Putin is denying that President Trump gave secrets to the Russians.

Mr. Putin called the scandal surrounding President Trump “political schizophrenia.”

As constituents around the world bandy about terms like “obstruction of justice,” people also await the transcript of President Trump’s meeting with Russian officials via President Putin. Feedback about Putin’s transcripts is flowing into social media can be read via sample comments below. One major concern is that President Trump reportedly told the Russian officials the city in which U.S. intelligence had discovered ISIS threats, and fears that Russia could use that information to undermine the U.S.

“Putin is laughing at us. Punchline: only Russia has the transcripts because the American media was locked out of the Oval by the Trump team.”

offered to share Trump-Lavrov transcript but how about the real transcripts the collusion ones that put Russia in WH to begin with.”

“Even Trump can’t be happy Putin has come to his defense 5x last two weeks even today volunteered to send transcripts to defend Trump.”

“But how do we know transcripts won’t be ‘edited’? Putin is not known for truth!”

“Any transcripts from Putin ‘who is our enemy’ and a corrupt Dictator in his country can’t be trusted!”

“How censored would those transcripts be. Putin only allows what he wants reported in media & memos.

“Yes! But that only proves that Putin has his hands everywhere! Bullocks! Transcripts!”
