News broke at the beginning of this week of The Bachelor couple, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, calling off their engagement.
Ben and Lauren have faced rumors that they were having relationship problems or on the verge of breaking up for months now and it is clear that there was some truth to those rumors.
The former Bachelor star Ben Higgins continued to tell the public that he and Lauren were still together but looking back, it is obvious that a breakup was imminent.
Hanging around single friends
Lauren Bushnell has been spending a lot of time with her single friends from The Bachelor, according to her Instagram account. She has been hanging out with Amanda Stanton, who recently broke up with Josh Murray.
Amanda and Josh met on Bachelor In Paradise, but the two had a nasty split, according to E! News. They initially broke up in January, attempted to get back together, and then ultimately went their separate ways.
Lauren and Amanda are featured on Bushnell’s Instagram page in bikinis by a pool, taking selfies at a rooftop restaurant, and at Coachella drinking with friends.

Lauren’s been working on her body
Lauren has also been spending a lot of time in the gym working out. The former Bachelor star even took up boxing recently.

A major sign that a breakup was coming for Ben and Lauren was that he didn’t come to her birthday party. Lauren’s fiance’s absence from her party definitely stirred up rumors that the two were having issues in their relationship.

In a post dedicated to Ben for his birthday, Lauren literally described their relationship as “sometimes rocky.” Was this a clue that everything wasn’t picture perfect?
