Nick Gordon Arrested Hours After Bobbi Kristina Car Wreck

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-fiance Nick Gordon has been arrested.

Police caught Gordon on radar driving 85 mph in a 35 mph zone on Northpoint Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia on Wednesday evening.

A law enforcement official said, “We are fortunate because that’s such a busy corridor with high end retail shopping restaurants and pedestrians at crosswalks. At that speed, it’s absolutely reckless.”

Gordon’s arrest came a day after Bobbi Kristina wrecked her Chevy Camaro. She managed to escape from the accident unharmed. Alcohol and drugs were reportedly not a factor in the accident, but speed may have been. She was cited for failure to maintain lane and issued a court date.

Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s relationship has been under much scrutiny lately. The two reportedly announced their engagement on their reality series, The Houstons: On OurOwn.

But Gordon tweeted on November 18, “@REALbkBrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been.”

On November 26, Bobbi Kristina tweeted, “Who do I trust in this world? Pfft well that’s easy beezie, #Myself.”

The next day, she wrote, “I guess it’s time 4me2stop depending on anymore. It’s my time2follow what Mom&The Lord put out on this path for me. #Thankful. Mom xxo.”

Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, said her niece and Gordon have nothing more than a “very, very strong friendship. Very strong.”

Bobbi Kristina debuted her singing voice on Wednesday’s episode of The Houstons. She sang a few lines from her mother’s hit song, “I’m Your Baby Tonight.” Obviously nervous, she said her nose was stuffed up and that she would have to stop smoking cigarettes if she were going to keep singing in the future.
