Justin Bieber Paternity Drama Is Alive And Well

Justin Bieber paternity drama flared up online again after Mariah Yeater’s original attorney claimed he had never seen the DNA results which were supposed to indicate the identity of the baby’s father. Yeater filed court documents demanding a DNA test after claiming she and Bieber had a tryst backstage after a concert, according to Radar Online.

Yeater withdrew a lawsuit filed against Bieber, but her original attorney in the case sparked controversy when he stated during an interview that he had never seen the DNA results. Jeffrey Leving maintains he never had the chance to review the Justin Bieber DNA test results, even though the pop star asserted he took such a test.

Leving is a prominent Chicago attorney who once reportedly stated that he hoped to settle the Bieber paternity case out of court. After Yeater made the baby daddy claims against Justin, another man was reportedly named as the baby’s father.

Leving had this to say about the paternity test during an interview with the New York Daily News:

“I have not seen Bieber’s DNA test results or had them scrutinized. If there was a first test, and I have no documentation to say there even was, I wasn’t provided with the results.”

The Bieber baby drama began in October 2011. The singer claimed he had never met Mariah Yeater, but took the paternity test anyway. In Yeater’s affidavit, she stated that she was 19 when she had sex with the then underage Bieber backstage after his concert. The young woman also maintained that she became pregnant as result of the sexual encounter with the pop singer. She ultimately had a son she named Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater.

Justin Bieber issued this response through one of his representatives after the paternity allegations surfaced:

“It’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”
