Braylon Edwards versus Lebron and crew?

Braylon Edwards is having a tough year. He wants out of Cleveland during the off season but no deals were able to be completed. His Browns, have suffered through a 0-4 start, and their Head Coach may have already lost the locker room and may soon lose his job. On top of that Edwards, who was once the number one Brown’s receiver has virtually been deleted from the Browns offense. Through four games he has just 10 catches for 139 yards. With that in mind Edwards hit a Cleveland club Saturday night and ended getting into a beef with a member of Lebron James’ entourage.

How all this exactly happened, nobody who wasn’t there will never know, but apparently Edwards threw a punch at one Edward Givens, who is a local Cleveland area promoter. Lebron was not at the club but did receive a phone call from Givens early Monday morning. Browns head coach Eric Mangini said that his team is looking into the incident, and so is the NFL. If Roger Goodell determines that Edwards acted against the leagues personal conduct policy a suspension will be coming.

Lebron had this to say about the incident, “I’ve never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there’s a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I’ve never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It’s like hitting one of my kids. It doesn’t make sense.”
