David Bowie signs up to LEGO Rock Band

I’m guessing David Bowie’s bank balance just fell beneath the $500m danger level, because now he’s signed up to do LEGO Rock Band.

That’s according to USA Today, which revealed that Ziggy Stardust/The Thin White Duke/Dave would be joining the likes of Iggy Pop and Bon Jovi in the game. All involved artists will have their likenesses converted into a LEGO minifigure, which should be fun.

As for Bowie songs, well, we already know that “Let’s Dance” will be a playable track in the game. The animations of the LEGOfied Bowie and his band will apparently be based loosely on the music video for the song.

I can’t see them stopping at one track either, and would quite fancy seeing “Ziggy Stardust” (obviously) and “Always Crashing in the Same Car” join the list. How about you, beloved and attractive readers?
