Fox News Host Bob Beckel Says San Francisco Nudists ‘Were Gang Banged, Probably’ [Video]

Bob Beckel, a Fox News host who is notorious for cursing on air and turning last names into dirty words, made his co-hosts very uncomfortable when he shared his thoughts on San Francisco nudists.

Dana Perino asked, “What happened to these people as children, that they don’t want to wear any clothes? Something happened.”

Andrea Tantaros replied, “They’re desperate for attention.”

Beckel jumped in and said, “Most of them were gang banged, probably. I don’t know.”

At his co-hosts’ discomfort, Beckel said, “Well, I don’t know, they could have had sexual assault on them.”

The camera remained on Beckel as his co-hosts laughed uncomfortably and he tried to rectify the situation. He told the producers, who were talking to him from the control room, “I didn’t use crude language. I apologize for crude language. Oh, c’mon man, you can’t hang me with that. That’s not right! There was nothing wrong with that!”

Beckel then teased out the segment while shaking his head in disbelief.

Public nudity was banned in San Francisco Tuesday by a narrow 6-5 vote. Anyone who violates the ban will face a maximum fine of $100 for the first offense. A third violation would allow prosecutors to propose a $500 fine and a year in jail.

Nudity will still be allowed in certain circumstances such as street fairs and parades like the city’s annual gay pride event and the Folsom Street Fair.

Some nudists upset about the ban responded by stripping down right in City Hall after the vote was made. Activists have already filed a lawsuit claiming the ban violates First Amendment rights.
