Robbed, Kendall Jenner Silent On Social Media. Is She Shocked?
Burglars decamped with jewelry worth $ 200,000 from Kendall Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home late on Wednesday. The theft occurred five months after the reality star’s sister Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
The reality star had left her home afternoon on Wednesday and returned around 8 p.m. when she found nothing amiss, TMZ reported. Kendall Jenner entered her bedroom again around 1 a.m. on Thursday when she realized she was robbed. Fearing thieves were still on her property, she made the 911 call. A thorough search by the LAPD did not reveal any signs of forced entry.
Responding to the news, Kardashian fans suggested the theft could have been an insider job. Kendall Jenner was having a party with friends on Wednesday when she was robbed and noticed the security alarm go off, but did not suspect a robbery then, Daily Mail reports. Besides her party friends, the police may also have at least one other suspect to investigate given that a stalker reportedly traumatized the 21-year-old Jenner after she moved into her 4,800 square-foot home. A restraining order was granted against the stalker.

Last year, Kim Kardashian was robbed of $10 million worth jewelry at gunpoint in Paris after being tied-up. The robbery forced the highly-visible reality star to shy away from the limelight for many days after the incident. She recounts her trauma on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians scheduled to be aired this weekend.
“They ask for money. I said I don’t have any money. They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.”
Her sister included, Kendall Jenner joins several other celebrities who have been robbed.

Without identifying Kendall Jenner’s residence, an LAPD spokesperson told LA Times the police received a call at 1.15 a.m. informing them about a burglary in 1600 Marmont Avenue. Indicating it could be an insider’s job, the police also reportedly said they are not considering the robbery as part of a series of such thefts that occurred in the area.
Following the robbery, the KUWTK star maintained radio silence on social media without a tweet, a Facebook or an Instagram post in the two days after the incident, leaving one to wonder if she is shaken up by the thought of being robbed by someone she knows. Her last post was a day before the alleged theft took place. Kendall’s social media accounts registered activity on nearly all days in the week preceding the alleged burglary. Kardashians and her sister Kylie Jenner however continued to share their lives on the Internet with fans, without hinting at Kendall’s plight.
Incidentally, teasers of the episode showing Kim recount her Paris ordeal were released just days before the alleged theft at Kendall’s home. The mother-of-two said burglars were watching the hotel and struck minutes after the lights were turned off on her floor. She even suggested that the Kardashians were being watched since the start of their Paris trip. Business Insider reports the French police was investigating at least three suspects. More were questioned immediately after the incident last October. Kim Kardashian’s security was significantly beefed-up after the theft.

Kendall was reportedly seen on the day the theft took place. She left home with her mother Kris Jenner around noon to shoot scenes for KUWTK and the duo also had lunch with sister Kourtney Kardashian in Agoura Hills, TMZ reported with images of Kendall Jenner in yellow Palazzo pants from that eventful day.
