Lindsay Lohan Heads Back To The Big House For ‘Lying to Police’

Though Lindsay Lohan has her hands full with family drama right now, it seems as though the troubled actress will have to settle her domestic hiccups from behind bars. TMZ reports that LiLo is headed back to her one-bed flat in jail for lying to police officers.

Lohan will reportedly have her probation revoked and be charged with the criminal offense of lying to a police officer, reports Newser. This all stems from her car accident in June when she told Santa Monica cops that she was not driving her Porsche when it ran into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Lohan was the driver, and cops are busting her for the fib (because lying to cops is a crime).

TMZ‘s sources say that a Santa Monica City Attorney will file the criminal case against Lindsay, which will then be transferred to LA County Superior Court Judge Jane Godfrey for arraignment. At her arraignment, Judge Godfrey will likely revoke Lohan’s probation and await a full hearing on the grounds that she violated her probation in the jewelry case by breaking the law.

The judge who handled the jewelry case will reportedly not be involved in the probation violation case. The way it works is that after Lohan was sentenced, the probation case is sent to whatever judge is hearing the next criminal case against her. Being that it is Lindsay Lohan we’re talking about, there are an unfortunate few.

What do you think? Is Lindsay Lohan truly on the road to fixing her life or is the troubled actress simply incapable of staying out of trouble?
