Kim Kardashain Will Attend The Marine Corps Ball
Kim Kardashian will attend the Marine Corps Ball on Thursday evening. The reality show star will travel to New Bern, North Carolina to accompany an unnamed Marine who invited her to the HQ Battery 10th event several months ago.
Kardashian is currently in South Florida filming Kim & Kourtney Take Miami, ABC News reports. A US Weekly source had this to say about Kim attending the Marine Corps Ball:
“One of the Marines asked her to attend as a special guest of the event and she changed her schedule so she could be there. She’s honored that she was invited.”
In a Thursday Twitter post, the 32-year-old reality show star talked about getting ready to attend the ball. Long before Kim started fixing her hair and putting on make-up and a ball gown, she noted she had just finished her “best workout ever.”
Kim and her sister Khloe and Kourtney had been out of the country promoting their new line, the Kardashian Kollection. Kanye West, Kim’s boyfriend of seven months, allegedly tagged along with the girls on their trip to the United Kingdom. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, friends of the reality star allegedly believe that West will slip a ring on his love’s finger in the near future.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is not the first celebrity to attend a Marine Corps Ball. Last year Ashton Kutcher’s significant other, Mila Kunis, danced the night away with Sergeant Scott Moore. The Marine videotaped his invitation to the ball, and Kunis cheerfully accepted. Justin Timberlake went to the Marine Corps Ball in Washington, D.C., last year with Corporal Kelsey de Santis.
