Make your own margarita
If you're not into going out, just make your own margarita.
Ingredients for a classic margarita:
- One to one-half ounces of silver tequila
- One ounce orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
- One-half ounce fresh lime juice
- A splash of simple syrup
- Coarse salt
- One fresh mint leaf
Combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake until cold and strain into a chilled, salt-rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with mint leaf and serve.
