‘The Secret World’ Announces ‘Issue #4: Big Trouble in the Big Apple’ Expansion

The wizards of mayhem and destruction at Funcom have been hard at work to bring you more great gaming. The Secret World — a wonderful new MMO full of myth, legend, and twisted conspiracies — is about to introduce the latest expansion, Issue #4: Big Trouble in the BigApple.

Arriving at the end of November, Big Trouble in the Big Apple, is a dream come true for anyone who has ever fantasized about fighting gigantic monsters in the streets of an abandoned, ravaged New York City. If that isn’t enough to make you happy, players will be able to journey into the hundreds of miles of tunnels under the city to face the evil lurking below. Only the bravest of the brave will summon the courage to enter the sewers and subways to battle the vilest creatures yet unveiled in The Secret World.

The expansion introduces an extremely challenging new 10 man raid. Players will face the immense horror behind the destruction of the once proud city and the legions of life draining minions at the beck and call of the beast. The Chainsaw – a brand new and extremely powerful auxiliary weapon that opens up several new abilities for players to acquire.

Reticule Combat – a new, optional combat mode that allows you to use your mouse pointer to aim for targets.

Massive PvP Enhancements – this update revitalizes parts of the player vs. player gameplay, particularly the large-scale secret society warfare in Fusang.
