WWE Spoilers: Goldberg Returns To Respond To Brock Lesnar’s Challenge On ‘Raw’

There are still two pay-per-view (PPV) events that will take place before WrestleMania 33 in early April, but everyone knows where the focus lies. Still, those two events could bring about a lot of big-time changes and have huge influences on the biggest PPV of the year. This week on Monday Night Raw, the spotlight is on the return of Goldberg as he will give his answer to Brock Lesnar, but there is more on Seth Rollins’ injury, the United States Title scene, and more.

The official Monday Night Raw preview has been released by WWE, and it may not seem like there will be a lot going on, but it will be a packed show. Of course, everything is focused on Goldberg’s return and what he’s going to say, but a lot of people already have a pretty good idea if he is going to accept or not.

Goldberg responds to Brock Lesnar’s challenge to a final battle at WrestleMania

Over the years, Goldberg has defeated Brock Lesnar in their two official matches, and he embarrassed him at the Royal Rumble. Now, Paul Heyman issued the WrestleMania 33 challenge last week on Raw for one final match between the two legends, but will it be accepted?

Goldberg is expected to not only return to Raw after a two-week absence, but he is expected to accept the challenge to end this feud once and for all. As of now, Lesnar is not expected to show up, but this could be when Goldberg’s program for Fastlane begins being built up.

Seth Rollins’ injury status to be revealed

WWE has already confirmed that Seth Rollins did suffer an injury last week at the hands of Samoa Joe, but his exact status isn’t quite known. Many reports have come out saying that Rollins will be all right or that he will be out an extended period or that he is gone for eight weeks, but nothing has been confirmed.

As reported by Cageside Seats, the true answer is going to be given by WWE on Raw, and no-one quite knows just how serious his injury is. Rollins was already not cleared to compete at live events over the weekend, but how long will he miss?

Does Sami Zayn top the “list” of U.S. Title contenders?

Last week on Raw, Sami Zayn had a chance to prove how far he has come since joining WWE’s main roster, and it was impressive. Right before the Royal Rumble, Zayn had defeated Seth Rollins to take his spot in the big match, and last week, Zayn got the best of United States Champion Chris Jericho.

The title wasn’t on the line in that bout, but a win like that should have Zayn jumping to the top of the list of contenders for it.

Will Braun Strowman strike back against Roman Reigns?

At the Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman interfered in the WWE Universal Championship match which caused Roman Reigns to lose his chance at the title. It was an odd move at the time, but Strowman wanted his shot at the title and Kevin Owens owed it to him, as he proved the next night on Raw.

During that match, Roman Reigns gave a bit of payback and interfered in the WWE Universal Title match to cause Strowman to lose. Now, the two behemoths have it out for one another, and they’re not going to let things go and let the other guy get the last laugh.

Nia Jax’s warpath continues

Nia Jax has been picking up a lot of big victories lately, and she has had the number of Sasha Banks even though Bayley has warned against her friend stepping in the ring. Jax looks to move through other members of the women’s division on Raw, but who doe she have in her sights next?

Monday Night Raw is going to put a lot of puzzle pieces in place as Goldberg’s decision on the challenge from Brock Lesnar will likely cement the first WrestleMania 33 match in place. This will also be the ultimate word on Seth Rollins’ injury and how long he may be out of the ring. There are going to be a lot of questions answered on Monday evening, and WWE may be in the process of already changing things up to compensate.
