Kelly Preston Knows How Kirstie Alley Feels About John Travolta, Doesn’t Mind

Kirstie Alley called John Travolta one of the great loves of her life. How does Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston feel about that? She doesn’t really mind. She’s great friends with Alley, and in fact, gave her permission tell-all about her feelings for the Grease star.

Alley co-starred with Travolta in 1989’s Look Who’s Talking, and told Barbara Walters recently that he was the “greatest love” of her life. “Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John. And be with John for the rest of my life,” she confessed.

The actress was married to Parker Stevenson at the time, but talked about her emotional affair with Travolta when they were co-stars. Recently, Alley revealed that she confessed her feelings for Travolta after making sure to get his wife Kelly Preston’s blessing to do so.

Alley told Jimmy Kimmel “John Travolta is and has remained one of my best friends for almost 25 years. … His wife is my best friend. … They gave me their blessing, they said write the story. … I think she’s gonna like it. No one’s read it yet.”

She also admitted that her ex-husband, Parker Stevenson, won’t be surprised by anything he reads in her biography should he choose to pick up a copy for himself.

“He knew about it then, I told him everything, I told him everything as we went along.”

No word on whether or not Patrick Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi is aware of Alley’s alleged affair with the late actor, or whether she secured her blessing before dropping that bombshell.
