If there’s one thing you can expect from a Robert Pattinson interview, it’s that he doesn’t mind a game or two.
Which is probably not surprising since he and the rest of the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 are in the middle of a promotional tour that treats time zones like dominoes.
After a morning spent taking care of business on the Today show and having considerably more fun on Live with Kelly and Michael, Pattinson stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night.
What followed was a mix of funny anecdotes and pure slapstick.
First, Pattinson shared a story about meeting an incognito Brad Paisley in a Nashville music store — “I just thought he was a guy who worked there” — then a curious answer when he was asked if he would ever take on a comedy.
“I would like to, yeah. I mean … I would like to mime a comedy and have somebody else do my voice. That would be amazing. I would love to just be a puppet.”
More laughs came with Pattinson’s tales of “mechanical babies,” pulling off leather pants in a recent photo shoot for L’Uomo Vogue, Corky Romano and, er, — p****g his pants.
The water theme didn’t stop there. It was time for “Water War.” Props included a banned giant water gun, a card deck, and five glasses of water. Pattinson was soaked first, but after that the Brit’s luck held and Fallon received a full on blasting from his guest.
Pattinson’s verdict? “This is my favorite talk show in America.”
