Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Back On, According To Reports

Johnny Depp seemed to back off from Amber Heard following reports that the young actress had a hand in the actor’s split from his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis. Now, the gossip mill is heating up yet again with reports that Depp and Heard are back on.

According to the New York Post, Depp and Heard were spotted out together at the AV Nightclub in Los Angeles earlier this week. They were reportedly sitting “close” in a roped-off section of a patio, looking “flirty” as they chatted away for several hours.

The 49-year-old superstar was linked to his 26-year-old Rum Diary co-star earlier last summer as Depp’s 14-year relationship with Paradis came too a close.

Us Weekly reported the couple back in July to be “100 percent dating,” with Heard splitting from her photographer girlfriend of four years, Tasya van Ree. Depp has reportedly showered his young paramour with gifts including a horse for the Texas native.

The rumor mill quieted until earlier this month when the London Sun reported that Depp had been sending Heard poems and roses, apparently trying to get things going again. “He missed her so much over the summer,” said a source. “They both love literature, and the way he tried to win her back totally worked.”

The two haven’t officially confirmed anything for the curious media, with Heard merely calling Depp a “beautiful specimen of a human being,” while Depp himself has said of Heard, “When I first saw Amber, it was like seeing an old-time movie star. It was like I was seeing Lauren Bacall.”

The jilted Paradis, however, has remained mum on the subject.

“I don’t sell my private life, and nobody knows the truth or has done a proper journalist’s work on that situation,” she told The Daily Beast. “Nowadays, people speculate, but nobody knows! I have my children [Jack and Lily-Rose] to protect. There are children involved, so it’s really no one’s business but the family.”
