‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nathan Plans Dream Wedding For Maxie — Will It Go Off Without A Hitch Or Will Someone Interrupt Their Big Day?

Don’t pack away the wedding gifts just yet because a favorite General Hospital couple, Nathan West and Maxie Jones, are about to become husband and wife. Despite the fact that their New Year’s Eve plans went awry, it looks like it really is going to happen this time, and there is an exciting promo video that shows just a hint of what’s to come.

The newly released clip that was posted on YouTube reveals that Maxie is finally getting the wedding of her dreams. It has been a bumpy ride for Naxie, as this couple is called by fans, but their future is hopefully looking brighter. Of course, something could still go wrong. The promo shows that something, or someone, definitely surprises them while they are standing at the altar. Will they make it through the ceremony?

While this new General Hospital clip does show that something happens during the Naxie wedding, it may not be what everyone thinks it is. There are rumors that Nathan’s previous wife, Claudette, may walk in while they are getting hitched. They had just found out that she is supposedly dead, so this would definitely be a smack in the face if she should show up. However, that may not be the case at all.

Something definitely catches everyone’s attention as they all turn around to look toward the back during the middle of the ceremony. The new cover of ABC Soaps In Depth has the happy couple on their cover, and it also says that there will be a party crasher. Will it be Claudette or someone else who shows up? It does look like Nathan and Maxie end up getting married, so if that is the case, it won’t be Nathan’s first wife who comes back.

Maxie’s cousin, Robin Scorpio, was there for her New Year’s Eve wedding that never happened, and the good news is that she will also be there for this one as well. Actress Kimberly McCullough is pregnant, and she joked on social media that the wedding bouquet was just one of the props that helped to hide her growing baby bump, as her General Hospital character is not expecting at this time. Emma Scorpio will also be there by her mom’s side.

Maxie is stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress. In addition to Robin, she has Felicia, Lulu, and Nina to help her get through her special day. At least, that is what they are hoping for. This is a surprise wedding for the blushing bride as Nathan was seen on Thursday’s episode of General Hospital making a secret phone call saying that he needed help. That was his plea to plan an impromptu wedding for the love of his life.

Spinelli will make it back to marry the two lovebirds, and he will bring along his and Maxie’s daughter, Georgie. Of course, it will be interesting as original actor Bradford Anderson is being temporarily replaced by Blake Berris. Maxie and Spinelli have such a rich history together and Anderson made it so special, so fans will just have to give this new guy a chance to see what he can do with this well-loved character. Berris will make his General Hospital debut on January 13.

The promo also shows the wedding guests who are there to watch Naxie get married. Nathan’s sister, Nina, is front and center with her new husband, Valentin Cassadine, and stepdaughter Charlotte. Valentin has wormed his way into the family, and his presence will definitely be felt, especially by Lulu Falconeri and Griffin Munro. There is expected to be some drama between the wedding guests after the ceremony takes place, and Valentin is right smack in the middle of it all.

The news is going around Port Charles that Claudette is dead, and when Griffin finds out about it, he finally loses his priestly composure. According to TV Source Magazine, he will be furious with Valentin. Griffin will accuse him of murdering her, and Lulu shares that feeling as well. She wants to get Charlotte away from her papa as fast as she can. Unfortunately, her daughter doesn’t feel the same way.

General Hospital spoilers claim that the little girl will find out that Claudette, the only mother that she has ever known, is dead. This will leave Lulu to push herself onto Charlotte even more, and it is not expected to go very well at all. Her daughter will see Nina as her new mom now that she is married to Valentin. Will Lulu end up telling Charlotte that she is her real mother?
