Kaitlyn Bristowe On Bullies: ‘Bachelorette’ Star Doesn’t Understand Why People Hate Her

Kaitlyn Bristowe found love on The Bachelorette in a controversial season, where she wanted to get engaged to Shawn Booth despite having slept with Nick Viall. Many were convinced that she would keep Nick around because she couldn’t stop talking about him, so when she decided to pick Shawn, viewers were shocked. Many expected that her relationship with Booth wouldn’t last, but they made a decision to skip the spotlight and settle down to focus on their relationship. These days, it sounds like they are enjoying their new lives post-Bachelorette, but Kaitlyn is surprisingly still dealing with some bullies.

According to a new tweet, Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed that she actually gets quite a bit of hateful comments because she continuously promotes products on her social media accounts. Of course, many previous Bachelor and Bachelorette stars have scored advertising deals, where they make money every time they share an advertisement for a specific product or service. And some people feel that Bristowe is now a sell-out because she has chosen to do this for a living at the moment.

“Quick question. Do you guys yell at your tv when commercials come on and call the actors sell outs?” Kaitlyn Bristowe tweeted to her fans on Twitter, and when a person replied no, Bristowe followed up her question with, “Oh ok great. Then my next question is, why do people get so mad at me if I promote a product I use? Like who cares? Girls gotta eat.”

This isn’t the first time that Kaitlyn Bristowe has been labeled a sell-out. Some former Bachelor stars have returned to their careers after the show, but Kaitlyn decided to take the offers that came her way, including sponsorship deals where she would promote products to her many followers on social media. But Bristowe doesn’t see an issue with it because she is actually using these products. But she can just see the practical angle in this matter, and she thinks she should get paid based on how much she talks about wine.

“How I don’t get paid to drink wine is beyond me. That would be the most organic and authentic advertising of all time,” Kaitlyn Bristowe later revealed on Twitter, thinking of ways of how she could get paid for the things she was already tweeting about, including her love of wine, to which her followers had plenty of ideas.

“I’m not famous..but it would behoove someone to pay me to drink wine. I’m hilarious with a glass of Pinot,” one follower wrote to Bristowe, while another added, “Start a podcast (pretty please) and have a wine company be a sponsor BOOM.” A third person added, “You need to develop your own and then advertise away! BRISTOWE Pinot Noir… mmmmmm.”

And maybe Kaitlyn has so many haters because there are so many rumors about her. Just this week, Bristowe learned that people thought she was pregnant, and she tweeted about her confusion on Twitter.

“I’m confused, why are people congratulating me on being pregnant…. I’m not,” Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed on Twitter earlier this week as rumors surfaced that she was pregnant with her first child as Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor started airing on ABC. Fans replied with, “preview for the bachelor special tonight made it sound like you were, if you didn’t actually watch the rest of the show,” and “cause of the way they edited ur segment 2nite…we should know better eh of the editors!!”

What do you think of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s tweet about having haters? Do you think it is fine that she’s sharing so many advertisements for products that she herself uses?
